"we spent the day in passau on a river cruise, and wanted to eat some traditional German food instead of lunch on the ship. we had some specific wish for me kasespatzle, for my meat eating family it was sour roast and. for us all imperial mares for dessert. After a lot of online search I managed to find this place that would be open in December to midday and all boxes crossed and it was great! we were served by the nicest lady who looked so good (also the offer to make a family photo.) the kasespatzle was the best I ever had (and as vegetarian who were on the way in Germany a few times, I often had it) so wonderfully cheesy! the restaurant was beautiful, very traditionally decorated and also with Christmas decorations. a visit in passau is worth it anyway. I hope to come back one day!"

Great fresh food. Classic Wiener Schnitzel came as high quality meat, freshly home-made and with a smile from the very friendly and professional waiter. And all that at reasonable cost. Recommended!

We stopped in for lunch in this traditional Bavarian restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly. We had Leberkase with potato salad and goulash- both were very good. Prices were good. Would eat here again.

My husband ordered his favorite German meal "schweinshaxe" and said it was very good. I tried the Zigeuner Schnitzel which had a very good sauce containing tomato, bell peppers, and onion. Very nice outdoor area with umbrellas for shade. Very good service.

Little nice restaurant in the old part of the town. If you are lucky you will get a table with a “sea view”. The menu is full with traditional German dishes and of course the well known bier and wine. Everything tasted fantastic and the...service was great....

Instead of going back and eating on our river boat we decided to have lunch here. What a great decision. Our waitress gave us English menus and helped us decide what to eat. Both of us had the pork schnitzel with some kind of potato ball that was delicious. It was nice eating outside on a lovely sunny day.

we came to an early dinner on a Sunday evening and were immediately greeted and sitting. we had the pork with sparrow and mushroom sauce and an salate that were all good, and we tried the white beer and their cellar beer....Both were also good. the service was extremely attentive. the only problem was the smell of zigarette smoke, which came in by a ventilation near us. we felt like we were sitting with the smokers. to the happiness it was intermittent. all in all it was a good meal with good service.
