The food was fantastic, just as delicious as always. Ollie was very friendly and polite, making us feel welcome. We will definitely be coming back here soon.

The food was delicious with amazing sauces (though the prawns were overcooked). The atmosphere was great, but the service was lacking, bringing down the overall experience.

Fast efficient and delicious food. Arrived with half an hour to spare before a gig at the guildhall. The staff understood the situation and fitted us in. The food was hot, delicious and we were out in time. Thanks everyone.

During our visit to Portsmouth for our wedding anniversary, we searched for a restaurant near our hotel and stumbled upon this gem. The restaurant had great reviews and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and served hot. We particularly enjoyed the spicy crackers and ended up ordering two rounds. If we find ourselves back in Southsea, we will definitely return to this restaurant.

We came in at 6pm for food and it was brilliant from start to finish. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to a nice table. We were served by Elodie and Gina who were both amazing; great chat, friendly service, attentive service, nothing too much of a problem. The food was delicious (I am unsure who the chef is but thank you) and the plates, cutlery and glasses were clean (I am unsure who washed up)! Defiantly not up to it's usual fine standards ,waited a while to be seated as there was only one person front of house who was also making drinks, taking orders and serving food. We ordered prawn crackers to nibble on whist we were looking at the menu, these turned up with our mains. I ordered a King pawn curry what arrived was a chicken curry but worst off all some of the dishes arrived warm/cold The waitress was pleasant enough but she was rushed off her feet trying to do everything I hope this disappointing visit was just a blip as we have enjoyed many a good meal at Kho Thai

The food was very good and was the service. But what let it down for is how long it took for the kitchen to actually produce the food. From when the server took our orders and when we actually received our starters was over 45 minutes. It shouldn't take that long to deep fry some veggie spring rolls. The poor server spaced out our drinks so we wouldn't drink everything before the food arrived. When the food actually arrived it was very good. As well, for a while she was the only staff member visible she performed the Hostess role, bartender role and waitress role. Don't know if there was new kitchen staff or there was a staff shortage, but we finished eating 2hrs after arriving. It shouldn't...

Having never visited Portsmouth before we didn't know where to get dinner whilst visiting for my wife's work. Good ol' Trip Advisor drew this place to our attention, and boy are we glad it did! Service was friendly but attentive. Good knowledge of what was gluten free for my coeliac wife. All 4 dishes we had were outstanding. I particularly recommend the satay (perfectly cooked chicken) and the penang (such depth of flavour).. I doubt anything would disappoint to be honest. A casual but smart interior in a quirky building added to the ambience, and the prices were reasonable.
