The food was simply scrambled eggs with pifferlings but the taste experience was great.

Altfriedland is a very beautiful and quiet place to visit relaxed, interesting places, such as the church, the long house or the monastery ruins. It also fits if you let it go culinary well. You can do that very well in the monastery pots. You should check the opening hours before, as not always open here.

We were there on 03.09.22 from 17.30 am to 20.00 pm and have enjoyed a three course menu. I would like to say that staff is super friendly and accommodating. It tasted very good, but there's still air up there. The pork carving with pifferlings had exactly 2 whole pifferlings and very little sauce with even less small chopped mushrooms for at least 19,50 €. That was disappointing for me, as I had ordered this court only in anticipation of the pawlings. The Cola came in small glasses and was warm, without ice or lemon.
