"Visited for the first time yesterday for a hog roast for our local football club Christmas gathering. The pub is a lovely pub with a great selection of beers, wines and soft drinks. There's lots of space to sit down and a huge garden which...will be fantastic in the summer. The food was exceptional, melt in the mouth pork and amazing crackling. We will be back to try more delights from the talented chef. The bar staff were friendly, welcoming and most importantly, quick to serve you, which considering there were about 80 of us was no mean feat. Great for families, groups and couples. Thoroughly recommend a visit."

what a nice pub dinner we had in the queen william! very tasty, first-class food, with a lot of space in the big back garden and totally dog friendly. very satisfied with the covid precautions and restrictions.

First time I've ever been to this pub, and found it very welcoming, the landlady was lovely and chatty, so was some of the customers that I stood by waiting to be served, I would definitely recommend, it's really relaxed and has a good atmosphere, will definitely be returning for a nice cold beer. what an amazing afternoon! we arrived in a group of 4, we had already booked and was warmly welcomed by our hostes of the pubs. we probably had the best Sunday roast we ever had and believe that we were in this area to some...Pubs, these young people know how to make a Sunday roast. the whole pub sang happy birthday to my wife after lunch, that was great. in a desert man himself and that has not dissapoint it was soou beautiful. overall well appreciated, great host, great eating, I think that speaks for himself. will certainly recommend this place and will definately again for a roast or two!
