"the weinpump is a typical Rheingauer weinlocal from the device. But it seems to me that there is much more effort in terms of maintenance, decoration and cleanliness than in competition. at least, therefore, in the weinpump, a feeling of well-being and almost a feeling of holiday occurred that so far did not arise in the other localities known to me. this was certainly also the sympathetic, fleeting service. and: the menu is in a positive sense manageable, it is offered more ground-based dishes, but with that something is brought to the table. beautifully dressed, fresh and very tasty. we have fed up and felt very well so we will soon return to the weinpump."

"Wir waren gestern Abend mit vier Paaren dort zu Essen. U.a. waren Rezessionen und Berichte aus dem TV der Grund, das Lokal auszuprobieren. Leider konnten die Vorschusslorbeeren und der eigene Anspruch der harten Wirklichkeit nicht standhalten. An dieser Stelle nur ein paar Beispiele…die Nudeln für 23,90 waren nicht wirklich schlecht, aber für diesen Preis kann man mehr als ein Sahnesösschen mit drei Trüffelchen erwarten. Sicher ist ein Schnitzel mit Pommes nichts besonderes. Trotzdem darf der Teller auch optisch mehr hergeben als in einer Betriebskantine. Und wenn ein Essen beanstandet wird Himmel und Äd erwarte ich eigentlich eine Nachfrage nach dem Grund und nicht den lapidaren Satz…“ich gebe es so weiter…“, was soviel bedeutet wie, es interessiert mich eigentlich nicht. Wir haben an diesem Abend insgesamt über 400 Euro dort gelassen, ein Essen wurde freundlich moniert und ein üppiges Trinkgeld wurde gerne entgegen genommen. Ich will bestimmt nichts umsonst haben…aber…unter diesen Umständen gebieten aus meiner Sicht Gastfreundschaft, Respekt und Höflichkeit die Nachfrage, ob „es noch was auf‘s Haus sein darf“. Wie auch immer…wieder was dazu gelernt…aber der Wein war gut…"

"War nach langer Zeit mal wieder im Than&Luc zum Mittagessen. Früher habe ich das Restaurant als eher teuer empfunden, das war jetzt nicht mehr so. Je 8 € für eine Vorspeise und Suppe empfand ich aufgrund der frischen hochwertigen Zutaten und der ordentlichen Portionen als durchaus angemessen. Es ist halt kein 08/15-Take-away-Gltuamat-Thai. Das Essen (Vorspeise: Süß-sauer mariniere Schweinerippchen) und die Suppe (Golden Power) waren super lecker und für mich hätte auch ein Gericht Gericht gereicht. Vorzugsweise die Suppe, weil diese mit ihren frischen Zutaten und den tollen Gewürzen wirklich die Lebensgeister weckt. Chef und Chefin habe ich nicht gesehen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, hat mich allerdings als ersten Satz darauf hingewiesen, dass sie um 14 Uhr zur Mittagspause schließen. Das geht auch anders. Ansonsten wieder mal eine tolle Erfahrung und absolute Empfehlung! P.S.: In der Zeit als ich dort war haben viele Leute ihre Bestellung abgeholt. Das zweigleisige Konzept scheint also aufzugehen"

".and it is absolutely not regretted. Sunday, 29th October, was our first day of hiking in rheingau. for this evening we had not reserved, my wife and I wanted to look spontaneously after a return at night. the rheingau had surprised us with sun on our tour of geisenheim, kloster marienthal, johannesberg im domäne steinberg am kloster eberbach. the hessian state wineries have enclosed a few hundred meters from the monastery in the weinberg away from a stone wall their dome stone mountain. in the middle of this weinberg the beautifully located black holiday home. [here link] there is hardly a more beautiful place in the rheingau to drink a good riesling with sunshine. then we did this, and at some point we started to hike through the meadows after erbach with increasing hunger. they will always be standing under the path and standing in the middle of the Erbach. it was short after 17 clock and we saw a house where the light was already burning. old weinhouse shocked, before the entrance these plaque shared my gigantic magic that he would find super. woman saw more tempting dishes in the box. we looked at, we saw that others flew through the door and it seemed cozy light from the gastronomy in the ever darker first winter evening. in and after a table. with the entrance of the gastronomy, I was returned to the village gasthaus of my youth, as it looked here, the wee had changed nothing here for many years. the nightmare for each interior architect, but it fits to the host, shocked as it turned out in the conversation. this dining room was aged in the did and the number of visitors would suggest that it was cooked deliciously. man schuster nodded to ask a table and we could take a place. next to the fixed card there was still a day card. that wasn't as waving as it was. what you could read was a joy, and that was freshly cooked in the kitchen that we learned when ordering. a lot has already been explained, either already marked in the map or when you ask how no longer exists, so no wilder laughs for me, a pity! but we were still confusing, for my wife was an autumn salad with cheered goat cheese and tasty coward as delicious as it looked, carstens woman was very happy about her choice. also for me an salat, feldsalat with fried cervical seedlings served here also a woman more shocked, responsible for the kitchen, a simple but very tasty dish. fried in butter, served on a fresh feldsalate that was lubricated with a good vinaiigrette. so weinstube is fun....because both for a white wine from Erbacher wines for both of us. my wife had also chosen a plate from the daily menu as main dish, including from the Duroc swarm with crimp butter, bratkartoffeln and salat. the supplements came apart from the impressive with thick speculation. that looked really delicious! Woman schuster understands her craft extraordinarily good! amazing how much meat my wife can eat when it has a good quality. I had decided before that it should be. so half a built, fresh and crispy from the many, with knuckles and apfelrotkraut. also served here nudel, red cabbage and sauce separately. the duck, tender, juicy, perfect at the top of the often flown! very tasty. to this very classic kartoffel dumpling and a fruity, tasty red herb. a very tasty meal! Together we took another dessert, apfelcrumble with vanilleeis. this part would not have made one more after two walks from the shaky kitchen of a woman! fresh from the often teig crumbs above the spiced apple carvings, with a good vanilla ice cream. a very good conclusion of a delicious dinner. Woman schuster cook not stars kitchen, but she cooks like a mama (or my oma earlier) with heart and love simpler dishes! I liked it very well. shocked and a colleague gave us a warm and more eager service, wept to eat suitable local weeping and just prepared us a pleasant evening! everything in all was the heart-providing kitchen! we will surely come back at the next visit in rheingau."
