Visited with my son and wife for Father’s Day, the food was amazing. We each had different ramen and a starter each and the food was up there with the best we’ve had in Edinburgh. We will definitely be going back for sushi soon. Highly recommend it!

The food here is utterly outstanding. We ordered the salt and pepper squid (the best I've ever had, and I've had it all over the world), soft shell crab tempura, Kenji sushi set and the red dragon roll. All highly recommended. Easily the best sushi in Edinburgh right now!

Very friendly staff. Really cute location, sort of hidden and very peaceful with lovely music inside. Considering it's very good sushi and a lovely location it was extremely well priced and the food was absolutely GORGEOUS. I eat sushi all the time and this was some of the best I've had!

The salt and pepper squid was fine. Niguri sushi set, I wouldn't order again. Too many duplicates (2x of salmon, watercress, tofu). The amount of fish was minimal. The amount of rice was too much per niguri, the consistency of the rice ball was too packed and the rice was too soft. I could not finish the meal. It wasn't authentic and I will not return unless the skill and love towards their food improves.

A repeat visit for us within space of two weeks as we enjoyed it so much the first time around and wanted to order more from the menu. It's a tiny restaurant and a bit rustic, these seats are not for people who want to spend 3 hours over dinner. Fine for 90 mins-2 hours, plenty time for trying several dishes. The sushi is great quality, love the chicken yakitori and tried the prawns on toast which have a delicious flavour. Tempura prawns are served with a dipping sauce that will have you reaching for the batter crumbs to dip, it's so tasty. It's a cash only restaurant, but if you forget, there's an ATM two minutes walk away on Raeburn Place.

During our visit to Edinburgh, we attempted to dine at this restaurant but were deeply disturbed by the behavior of one of the staff members. We didn't have a reservation and tried to walk in, but the waitress gave us an incredulous look as if we shouldn't have even asked without a booking. Being Asian and craving some familiar food after days of steak and hamburgers, we inquired about the wait time. The waitress responded with visible anger and disdain, telling us it would be at least an hour. What shocked us even more was her treatment of a food delivery person who came in to check on an order. She angrily shut the door in their face. We were left speechless by this lack of basic decency....
