Katz Orange - Menu

One of the best meals we had in Germany. Lots of authentic food choices and sizable portions. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding and restaurant very welcoming. Tucked away in an alley. We'd return in a heartbeat.

Vi läste om restaurangen här på TripAdvisor och ville hit. Vi var båda mycket nöjda med maten men främst med servicen. Bra vinmeny och fantastiska drinkar. Mysig restaurang som jag gärna skulle gå tillbaka till nästa gång vi besöker Berlin.

Sehr gutes Essen in schöner Umgebung. Der Innenhof ist sehr ruhig und passt gut zum ruhigen und sorgfältigen Service und Essen. Das Ceviche war hervorragend, das Kibbeh ebenfalls sehr gut. Und auch der Nachtisch mit Basilikumsorbet überzeugte!

I was entranced by the beautiful courtyard, which is why I chose this restaurant for our dinner on our Friday night out in Berlin. Unfortunately it rained, but the interior didn't disappoint and was stylishly decorated. The food was great, especially the lamb and the cheviche as an appetizer. The drinks are also great and quite exclusive.

Das Katz Orange liegt wirklich schön in einem Berliner Innenhof und ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Service war echt auf zack, allerdings kam das Essen fast schon ein bisschen zu schnell... Hat uns sehr geschmeckt, besonders die Ceviche war genial! Ist nichts für jeden tag, aber wenn mans mal besondererer mag, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

a super beautiful place in an in-house in the middle. food: service: there we celebrated the 30th birthday of my partner. the staff were super friendly and friendly. disorders are amazing, from starters, the main course to dessert. the staff took care of the point where they entered the restaurant and ensured a very warm and cozy atmosphere. I discovered a personal took a dropped abandoned essnapkin, without customers notice and replace a new one. that makes me love this restorative. the place is a little pricy, but it is worth celebrating something special.

amazing meal in an equally beautiful building and with wonderful service. we could take our drinks on the terrace, which was very nice at a cool evening. then we moved into the dining room for our meal from the farthest left and in the clockwise sense: polnta, pork, lamb, pommes, burratta and tomaten, drfpfeffer, falafel. all were amazing. roast meat was a small seemingly part, but once a bit of broken up were actually a more significant size. I had expected that they were on the bone, which they were not, despite the way they were described in the menu. Nevertheless, everything was delicious and we are so happy to have spent a meal in cat orange.

We chose this restaurant because one of our party is a vegetarian and this place has a reasonable selection. For me it was hopeless as two of the three meat dishes are only available if two people order them. All that I could eat was sausage, which was OK, but nothing special. The acoustics in the main restaurant were terrible due to the low ceiling I think. It was terribly noisy there even when not full. The bar I think was better. Had it been warmer we could have sat outside which would have been quite different.The service was fairly poor and the beer wasn't very good either. Given how far it is from the city centre I wish I had not bothered. I will definitely go somewhere else next time.

Had high hopes for this restaurant given the reviews and menu but left disappointed. We came at 10pm, an hour before their closing time, and we were made to feel as if we were not welcome and were rushed along. We ordered the Kibbeh vegetarian dish (delicious hummus and yogurt/tatziki dip, ok eggplant and some unidentified fried balls that were okay), fries for dipping as well as the duroc pork for two for an entree. Everything was brought together even though we specifically asked to have the vegetarian plate as an appetizer. The vegetarian plate and fries were okay and we had high hopes for the pork. However it was very very dry. You could tell it was a good cut of meat but just over cooke...
