"Not busy when we arrived, only 2 tables of people already eating. We waited 45 mins, people who arrived after us where served before us, then our food came out, lady gave it to the wrong table at first, when it finally got to us, both orders where wrong, I made a comment that this is shocking, the lady said if I don't like it I can go somewhere else, so I agreed, the shockingly bad staff tryed to refuse us a refund, as the chef tryed to say the policy is, once order is made, there's no refund, I'd agree with that if I got what I ordered and not a wrong order.....anyway, when holywell locals say avoid that cafe and go to Billy jeans, next time il listen lol AVIOD THIS CAFE LIKE YOU WANT TO AVOID AIDS, ITS DREADFUL....it's not even worth 1 star, but I have to give at least on star to make this review.... Billy jeans was well nice and served to the table in around 10 minutes like a normal cafe"

Visited today with a friend for a three course Christmas lunch. The table was laid out lovely, food was absolutely spot on. Staff are so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you again

Staff really friendly and accommodating. Good menu choice and fair prices. Food does take an awful long time to arrive so maybe not good for a quick bite to eat. Food when it arrived was really nice, but slightly greasy. Voir le carte

While wandering around Holywell, I felt hungry and decided to stop for a meal. I ordered the ploughman's lunch and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant. I am a local resident and will definitely be returning. Thank you very much.

I recently visited a charming, clean cafe located at the end of the High Street in Holywell. It was my first time there, but it definitely won't be my last! The food was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I ordered a cheese and ham omelette with chips and salad, and it was absolutely delicious. The omelette was fluffy and packed with flavor, the salad was freshly made, and the chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was a delightful experience for my taste buds.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic beef roast dinner paired with a freshly brewed filter coffee at this restaurant. Since I don't eat potatoes, I opted for extra vegetables which were delicious. The food and service were top-notch. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including barista-style hot drinks and cakes. The atmosphere was great, with friendly staff and exceptional service. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with local art displayed on the walls. Dog lovers will be pleased to know that this establishment is pet-friendly. Interestingly, the building has a rich history as the old corn exchange. I highly recommend this restaurant. Voir le carte

We visited kassidy's after seeing it featured on a local news item. Both of us had breakfast, which was tasty and very good value. Service was friendly and efficient. We've never been there before, as it doesn't look very welcoming from the outside, but will definitely be going back. There were plenty of customers, so maybe the owners don't feel they need any advice, but here goes....we would have visited before if we could have seen from the street what the cafe is like inside. The windows are obscured by the window blinds and by condensation. If you could just give the windows a wipe now and then so that people could see in it would be so much more inviting!

We go in here quite often. Local and well placed in the town centre. Good parking. The staff are nice and always greet with a smile. During winter I found it quite cold, and actually ate with my coat on. I think it must get hot in the kitchen, but we're not getting it out here. Sometimes, during a quiet period, it can be extremely quiet, like a surgery waiting room. Some background music wouldn't go amiss. Anyway, the food is good, tasty and good value for money. Service is usually fast and correct, except for last week, when I didn't get what I ordered, and that was after a twenty minute wait. The only thing different that day was the man in the kitchen wasn't there. I'd go, if I were you....

"Went for a drive Father's day and ended up having a meal here, we rang and luckily got a table for 7pm. On entry to the Celtic Arms it was a high walled gated area with absolutely beautiful gardens which went on for some considerable area, it is a golf club as well and a beautiful golf course with golf buggies opposite the restaurant. Opposite the golf buggies their is a play area that as I recall was fenced off but attached to the restaurant as its also a bar. On arrival to the resteraunt the manager was extremely warm and welcoming and escorted us to a table just outside of the restaurant. During the time we where in the Celtic Arms I observed the waitress in the restaurant constantly clean and spraying the tables which was absolutely so reassuring since the last covid people have relaxed a bit to much. A young lady who was equally as welcoming came and as us for our order, it was a set three course meal at £23.99 which we felt was really reasonable for such a lovely place. Halfway through our time in the Celtic Arms the young lady went home from her shift that had intially taken our order and I pressume we then passed to another waitress. I felt we where out of the eye of the bar but not in the restaurant so got a little forgotten about, although once we called a member of staff to remove our plates these where remove immediately. The starters where delicious with plenty of prawns on the prawn cocktail and the pate had an amazing homemade chutney. The mains where lamb and beef with the whole meal being cooked to perfection and hot with vegetables cooked just right. A lovely touch we felt was the lady out of the restaurant came and asked us if everything was to our liking and was there anything of the meal we would like a little extra off, I dare say you won't get a ton of potatoes or veg but the gesture was very touching and to be honest the meal size was ample. The desert white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake we shared and both agreed it was delicious, and we then shared a cheeseboard which I had got on the three course set menu. The delicious chutney again appeared with varies cheeses, crackers and grapes. Our compliments where left with the manager and the staff with our thanks for serving and delivering multiple resteraunts can not quite achieve. Well done Celtic arms for your polite, professional manner and serving a delicious good quality meal which was ample portioned, reasonably priced in an excellent environment. Would definitely recommend this place it's beautiful and wins hands down on the last 20 plus places we have been over the last few months. We will most definitely be going back again."
