Friendly bar close to checkpoint Charlie and the topography of terror. nice staff and yummy nachos. Reasonably priced, homely food.

Sehr sympathischer Chef, nette Bedienung,Super Cocktails und seh leckere Küche. Ein Besuch in "Johnny's Bar" ist am Checkpoint Charlie auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.

So nice place to spend time with your friends or family. Tasty food, big portions for reasonable prices, good and various bar card. There is cocktails happy hours from 5pm, Pina colada is excellent!! Staff is also on a high level: friendly, smiley and polite. Voir le carte

We enjoyed a quick lunch here on our last day in Berlin. The food was very tasty and the price made it even more appealing. Two lunches and two coffees for only 16 euro. The staff were really friendly, but the service was a bit slow. Still very enjoyable though!

Lecker Essen in karibischer Umgebung mit super gut gelaunten Inhabern.Urlaub pur, die Cocktails lecker, das Personal flott, kaum Wartezeiten. Wohlfühloase.Freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Berlinurlaub, Ria und Johnny wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder bei euch vorbei. Hasta luego.

Staying at the hotel across the road from Johnny's Bar, we went across for coffee and a snack a few times whilst in Berlin. Always good, friendly service and good food. Not always easy to get an inside table - it is a busy place. Would recommend it to anyone near Checkpoint Charlie. Voir le carte

This place is amazing note the location is new as of April 1, 2022. We were served by Johnny himself, a Dominican who married his German wife and came here in 2015. The food was wonderful I had the shrimp. But it was...the friendly atmosphere that made the experience amazing. We met Johnny’s wife (Maya I think), who is the chef. And also met his daughter who was on the German version of The Voice, which is super cool. Great food and fantastic family so glad we came!!

Went here for a late lunch. Sat down at a table and waited almost 20 minutes, no service, nothing. Went to the bar to get a menu. Nice chap behind the bar. Sat back down. . . waited. Finally the waitress came around took my...order. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. It was just ok. The place was busy, not packed, but table service was terrible. Pleasant enough waitress but I expected better service from such a highly reviewed establishment. Maybe an off day.

Me and my friends found this hidden gem amongst the streets of Berlin. This bar is in such a great location, afew minutes walk away from Checkpoint Charlie and the Topography of Terror. The service was great with such a friends host, he accommodated to all of our needs. Even fellow customers were talkative and spoke positively about the food and recommended cocktails for us to try. The food was impeccable at great prices! Me and my friends went for the chicken wrap, toastie, nachos and baked potato. The homemade sauce that came with each meal was great too!
