Joe's - Carte

we had a nice dinner at joe’s. it is a small neighbourhood restaurant with an eclectic menu. the waiting staff is very friendly. eating is good.

a few days ago at joe sunk and we had an amazing experience: eating was spot on (soft dish krabbenburger and wagyu rindmeat steak,) the service attentive, a beautiful weinlist and there was a good buszz around the restaurant. will be back soon

I love to go to Joe's for lunch with friends. The food is really nice and caters to all with choices from salads, fish, pasta and even a delicious hamburger. It is a neighbourhood gem that has been around for years and I hope it stays for many more. Voir le carte

I met a friend for a light lunch last week at Joe's. It was perfect. We both ordered the spinach salad with prawns which was delicious. The restaurant tables are not too close which let's you talk without picking up on other conversations and it is perfectly located for shopping!

I met a friend once again at Joe's and always enjoy my lunch. We usually order a salad and a glass of wine and it is always good. Sometimes the music is loud but they are agreeable when you ask to turn it lower. It is in a great location and very convenient if you are out shopping in Knightsbridge.

not really a place to dine more of a café experience in the evening, which was misleading from the description of joe’s. the personal was pleasant enough, but against the end of the evening cans were emptied and the full mülls were led to us on the right, as we ate and laid on the pavement! then we knew it was a note to go. will not be back to joe’s Voir le carte

We booked Joe's after reading positive reviews online, we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is nice and bright, and wasn't cramped. The staff were faultless, very attentive but not pushy, nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, we both had scallops then veal, we received our orders quickly and both starter and main tasted how they should. There's also a good choice of wine. I will say the bill was a little steep but this hasn't put us off returning nor recommending it.

I read a lot of good reviews about this place so was looking forward to going. My husband and I went on a Saturday night for dinner. We had a horrendous experience with the service. The lamb (which we asked for medium rare) came back medium, tough, and chewy. We asked for it to be re-cooked and we told that due to health hygiene rules that they couldn't cook it any less than they did (so why did they take our order)? I switched my order to the dover sole which was nicely cooked en papillote even though the waiter had originally discouraged me from ordering the dish. We will not be back.

I've visited Joe's a few times, always pleasantly surprised about the quality of food, delicious wines and classy yet cosy atmospere thanks to the cleverly designed interior. However on this occassion, I was hugely let down by the main course a chewy veiny piece of veal. I was offered a choice of how I wanted my meat cooked which made me think it was going to be a piece of meat worth fussing about. I picked blue rare, my usual choice of a meat lover. However, the piece of veal I got was so veiny and bony, I had to chew each piece a long time. Also, it was raw in places due to the heat not reaching behind tougher cartilage. A nightmare.
