this is essentially fast eating. but it is nice that they do not use much packaging. when they eat in the restaurant, they put their food on a real dish. I had a pretty simple burger and pommes, which was good.

it is kind of build-a-burger, with toppings choices, pages and drinks. service is fast, cheap and the place is very informative. the burgers came with salads instead of on the side filled and were quite tasty to eat, but good.

I wanted to do a hamburger in Hamburg and found this place. It's easy to find and close to the central station. I ordered a limited edition Cajun which was amongst the burgers I've had. I'll be back for another one before I fly out...today!

I have hunted a burger and american (although tried not to be american. I still need a good burger, and this place has not disappointed! I also loved the pommes! fast, efficient, friendly staff, near the main railway station. and my airbnb remains so happy!

I'm not a burger lover. However husband is. He was not particularly impressed by the food. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The ingredients look good. No real complaints. A lot of people really seem to like,this place and rate it highly. Has a...great range of burger options.

This is one of the Hamburg Block steakhouses. My companions told me that the steaks, though expensive, were really good and cooked exactly to their liking and the salads excellent. However there was virtually no other options but steak, my turkey breasts were overlooked and...dry. For four people, main course with salad and six beers cost over 120 euros.

While on a short business trip this past week, we searched around for a nice steakhouse. Since it was only a short walk from our hotel, we were very pleased with our steak selections, the side salad was quite tasty, and the side order of...spinach was outstanding. I would suggest to any American visiting Hamburg looking for a nice steakhouse, give the Block steakhouse a try.

You know how it is, eating out alone you will mostly be treated as if you have a disease. So since you not always want to be treated badly, this steakhouse is an easy choice for lone travellers, tables are simple, waitresses are friendly, steak...is ok and wine is budget. Not for romance but for a decent evening meal I can recommand it. Especially in sumer, when you can sit outside and even get a table as a single traveller:
