"When we came in, there were no other guests. The waitress asked us if we just wanted a drink first. We said we were hungry and sat down. We ordered two cocktails and before we could place our food order, she almost ran off with the menu. A little later she came back with another person who had to help her prepare the drinks. It was also the helper who then served us the glasses. Up until then and afterwards, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else to eat, although we had actually made this clear at the beginning. After about 5 minutes, the music was switched off and the two of us sat in a completely empty and now completely silent room. We emptied our glasses and asked for the bill. What a shame, the online presence looks great and we would have loved the menu. It was just the surroundings that were more than strange."

Visited after 30 years, It used to be the Witness Box, and was pleasantly surprised. great atmosphere, beautiful decor and great service. Really enjoyed it.

Nice bar for drinks in the early evening. Nice little bar down in the basement with air conditioning for those very hot days. Food is good, service is good and even when busy they seems to be keep the queue’s at bay unlike some of the other pubs around the area. Voir le carte

A small but bustling venue in a traditional pub type setting. Very limited evening menu though no mains just burgers and small plates. <br <br However the food was good and hot and there were nice wines on offer. Food was priced well for london 4 small plates £20 which was enough for 2 people.

Had a table for six for lunch. The menu is already concise but because the chef 'wasn 't around ' they had a deputy, who unfortunately couldn 't cook. Therefore, we were treated to an even more concise range of options. One starter. One main. Two burgers. That 's it. And the service was slow, despite being basically empty. Honestly, McDonalds does a much better job. Don 't visit.
