"The street level bar was booked for a private party so as a diner we went downstairs. We were not welcomed and no seating had been reserved so we sat next to the ladies toilet as it was the only place not full of drinkers. The food was average but not over priced. A pub with plenty going on and if we hadn't gone to the bar and stood in a bustling queue to order we would never have Got served. A disappointing element to our break in London but if they are milking it in from drinkers why go to the trouble of serving meals?"

Disappointing. Popped in for a famous lrish beer. The beer was tainted, told the bar staff, not interested. I thought they would have least changed the pump or switched it off. Had to do with a p load of lager.

This restaurant has a traditional "old school" atmosphere. The decor is simple with plain tables and chairs, but the staff is friendly. They are very accommodating to large groups, such as ours with over 20 people.

Excellent beer, welcoming staff, and exceptional food. The fries were incredible - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Bonus points for being cooked by a fellow Scotsman. I will definitely return next time I'm in town. Voir le carte

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday party at Jamies and I couldn't have chosen a better venue! From the cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere of this stylish historical pub, to the excellent food and service of Jono and his team. A unique experience.
