"every year, the terrace restaurant opens at the beginning of the somewhat warmer season in spring. The public are city bustles, businessmen and friends who want to climb. Drinks, wee coffee and cake, all offered in four-year-old ge-winter quality. you sit on cozy lounge furniture but also on tables. the dream view of the former with their font teeth and the many ships as well as the traffic ships for free. you want more. it is also something special for hamburger to turn off and come down. a few hours holiday my recommendation e.g. salat with gambas. but there are div.variations and of course other offers. let go pamper and enjoy.Hamburg is soou beautiful.monikalandsky"

this is one of the best places on the aster in hamburg with a cozy atmosphere and breathtaking view. Of course there are some disadvantages for the service and the catering, because between this beautiful place and the hotel there is a road. but in my opinion, we complain here at a very high level. enchanting place, good eating, unattended service. we were there for dinner at a beautiful place, but were deeply disappointed. we had to wait 30 minutes to order a desert. we observed other tables where guests were in the situation. the waiter has not apologized. This experience has left a very bad impression.

very nicely situated terrace of the hotel with a raised kitchen. the dishes were tasty and the service pleasantly unobtrusive. recommended only with beautiful weather. the price level is raised but not lifted. a lunch for two people with appetizer, main dishes, a dessert and two coffees for 100 euro incl. drinking money.

the terrace of the hotel four seasons in hamburg floats almost on the aster. the small local is located on a ponton, which lies directly in front of the door of the hotel on the inland alster. comfortable lounge furniture invite you to chill. The prices are according to the location. Coffee and cake were okay, quite normal, nothing special. still a wonderful place to interrupt the city's stroll in the summer and enjoy the dream view over the aster. Must-Do for all tourist and hamburger. Voir le carte

we have been to two for lunch there and the service was heillos overwhelmed. we had to spend forever on the card, then on the option an order, then on the drinks that feed and wait for the conclusion the bill. from the lunch has become a 1.5 hour event. the flamme cake was unfortunately one of the worst I ever had. every elssian would smash the hangings above the head. even TK goods tastes better. the salat with chicken was good, but nothing special. The quality must be dressed again, earlier it was always good there!

a beautiful place to eat, drink and enjoy. directly on the innermost is on a ponton the terrace of the hotel is four seasons. the foods are prepared directly in front of place, available are burger, salate, etc. unfortunately the service does not meet the expectations of such a house. we had to wait a long time until we were served and then the wrong drinks were brought first. the service employee had to ask through the guests who had ordered drinks. the burger was quite ok, but unfortunately something fade. the salate was probably washed ungreen and was therefore quite grainy when it was eaten. the prices are very fair and absolutely ok.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
