Jack's - Carte

Looking for somewhere with decent beer, good food and a nice vibe and found all three. Food was excellent, the beer was good and the atmosphere was spot on. Definitely recommend.

We ate there last night! It was all delicious. Its owner, a man from Albania, was super nice. Of all the restaurants we have eaten in the 5 days we have been in London, this was where I enjoyed the most. The servings are huge. Thanks for the good food!!!

A group of work colleagues and I gathered at this restaurant. The food, drinks, and service were all quite good. The music was especially great, catering to my taste! There are also ping pong tables available to keep those who prefer a quieter atmosphere entertained. Voir le carte

Jack's is a large bar under the railway arches near Southwark tube. It has a frontage that can be completely opened when the weather is good and a large area of outdoor seating. It serves a good range of wines and beers but could really make an improvement if it had a better cocktail menu.

The staff and customers at this downtown Southwark Dogs Burger Pizza restaurant are really nice. It's located just 2 minutes from Southwark tube station and 5 minutes from London Bridge. They have a great selection of beers and cocktails, with fantastic offers on them and their pizzas. Overall, it's a very good place to try for yourself - you won't be disappointed.

I have visited Jack's bar several times and find it to be a great place to relax. However, it can get quite busy with city workers so be prepared for that. The prices for drinks are a bit high, possibly due to catering to the city crowd. It would be nice if they offered a happy hour to attract more customers. As a party of six we loved our first visit to Jack’s. Booking was easy and the holding deposit process was both fair and easy too. Food here is great but go hungry because portions are big. And.. spicy if you want them to be! The range of drinks whether beers, wines or spirits is plentiful. A quietly quirky and hidden away gem is this place, a great find. Good music, great atmosphere and fun and friendly service meant I can’t wait to return.

I was looking for someplace within walking distance to the Globe theater where I could have a good vegan dinner beforehand and Jack's absolutely hit the spot! The taco deal was divine! (the seitan tacos are the best ones, just an FYI). Sitting there with a bookcase as my backdrop, and the evening air drifting inside was just perfect. I was also pleasantly surprised by the GREAT service I got. My waitress offered me a free cup of peppermint tea when I finished and I can't thank her enough. Absolutely loved it!

I have been to Jack's about three times as a eat-in lunchtime customer and have always had a pleasant experience. The food is good and the atmosphere is generally good. Service had been a bit slow but the last time was pretty bad. Waited over an hour for our order but nothing came despite asking staff several times. I told one of the usual waitresses (Emilina or Emerilina) who was extremely rude and said we were told it would be a long wait (not true) and after I pointed out a number of tables who had arrived after us and had been served, she refused to acknowledge this and said that everyone had been there before us (i.e. more than 1 and 1/4 hours, yeah right) but we should just leave or wh...
