"**Atmosphere:** The restaurant is small but feels cozy without being cramped. On this visit, we were seated at a lovely window table, which made for an inviting and comfortable experience. When it gets busy, the atmosphere is lively, and the music is at just the right volume to enhance the ambiance without turning into a shouting match. Perfect! **Food:** We were there to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday with a party of five. For starters, we tried the Summer BBQ Picanha steak, scallops, buffalo mozzarella salad, and Iberian Black Pig Char Siu. I sampled a bit of everything, and they were all delicious, with the Summer BBQ steak standing out. For our main courses, we had monkfish, three Picanha steaks, and BBQ Maple chicken—again, everything was delightful, but the monkfish was truly exceptional. Our sides included truffle chips, rooster chips, tempura broccoli, and roasted sweet corn, all complementing the meal perfectly. Desserts featured sticky toffee pudding, burnt Basque cheesecake, grilled pineapple, chocolate with white port, and a cheese selection. I only managed to try the cheese, as everyone was enjoying their desserts too much to share! We enjoyed a few expertly crafted cocktails, the Quickening Shiraz from a thoughtfully curated wine list, and some dessert wines and port to accompany our sweets—all were fantastic. The portion sizes were just right, making three courses manageable. **Service:** This is where the family-run nature of the restaurant truly shines. The service is polite, friendly, attentive, and laid-back. Our visit felt leisurely, and I never felt rushed, even when the restaurant was busy. The staff checked in on us just the right amount to ensure we were enjoying our meals, and I truly appreciated that there was no pressure to order more drinks or any upselling—just a thoroughly enjoyable experience overall. **Additional Insights:** The restaurant is reasonably easy to access, with only a small step at the entrance, and the interior is spotless and well-maintained. The stone walls add to the charming atmosphere, and the rear wall has a unique texture that invites touch—you really have to experience it yourself. The restrooms are immaculate as well. **Disclaimer:** My wife and I have visited Jack O'Bryan's several times since moving to Dunfermline, and while we consider it a special treat, we often find ourselves looking for excuses to indulge a bit more frequently than we probably should. However, this consistency in the quality of food, service, and atmosphere is why we keep returning. **Final Tips:** The menu changes seasonally, so it’s a good idea to check their website to see what’s available. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially for weekends, as it’s essential to secure a table. Keep up the great work, Jack O'Bryan's!"

My wife and I visited for the first time recently, and we couldn't find a single fault, especially with the food. It was absolutely incredible—how they managed to make broccoli taste so good is beyond me! We certainly didn’t ignore the rest of the menu, which was just as impressive. We give Jack 'o' Bryans a perfect 10/10 and will definitely be returning. Best regards, Mrs. Stobbs. Food rating: 5. Voir le carte

We were warmly welcomed by the lovely Michelle, the owner and an exceptional hostess, while the dishes prepared by her highly talented son, Jack, were simply perfect. Jack, who is also a chocolatier, has a display of his handcrafted chocolates at the restaurant, and we couldn’t resist buying some to savor later. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic and friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it!

I was disappointed this visit. I ordered the halibut prawns. The halibut was over cooked. And it was sitting on 2 teeny shrimp (different animal than a prawn). I believe it was shrimp instead of prawns because: 1. They were ridiculously small 2, not sweet tasting, but rather fishy. They are also cheaper. The dinner came with cut fried potatoes that would be expected for a breakfast, not supper. I ordered the corn special which turned out to be the best part of the meal. The music was loud didn't fit the restaraunt or clientele. The whole experience was annoying.

Went on satanist to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. I'm blind and my wife also has pretty serious health issues. They were so accommodating to our needs and went as far as the lady was unsure if she should hand me a menu in case it offended me. Wife explained I had some useful sight and the pleasure started. Each dish was cooked to perfection, omg that iberian black pig is out if this world. Wonderful night and won't be our last visit as there's so much on the menu we want to try. Wheelchair accessibility: Thankfully my wife didn't need her wheelchair but there would've been no access issues.also I'm blind and they were great for me. Voir le carte

Great little restaurant with a cosy modern welcoming warm atmosphere where the staff are friendly, confident on their offerings and came across proud too. Ordered starters as Salmon Crab and Iberian Black Pig then main courses as Steak and Lobster and special version of the Picanha steak. There was a special side of Corn Ribs which sounded quite unique so ordered them too. Everything was absolutely delicious. See pictures. Well cooked, well presented and fantastic flavours. Desert was a unique take on Sticky Toffee Pudding and equally scrummy. Enjoyable unhurried evening and although it's not cheap I found the service and quality probably justified the cost. If I was returning again I would...

I can't recommend this place more! The food was incredible and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. I visited with my girlfriend and as soon as we walked in we both commented on how lovely the restaurant was and how nice the atmosphere was. The staff smiled and greeted us at the door and took us to our table, came and got drinks order straight away, water for the table and then gave us time to browse the menu without feeling rushed. We had the duck pate to start and this was the best pate we have both ever had, it was so smooth and the flavours were amazing! We both then ordered the fillet steak with truffle and homemade skin on wedges and again I can honestly say we have never had anyt...

"oh mann, dhoom. visited dhoom for the third time on the 6th april, 2022 and had such experience that I think it's high time that I checked and let the rest of the world know about this absolutely stunning, hybrid Indian streatery / fine dining room experience in the center of dunfermline. as mentioned, I was at dhoom a few times and always had a wonderful experience. the personal is friendly, the restaurant is stylish and always busy, and eating is absolutely to die. they make an extensive menu à la carte, which includes many traditional Indian dishes and modern hybrid dishes, and a tasting menu that not only very competitive price, but transforms eating into a fine culinary experience that is worth it. the visit today was different. the chef d prasad has started a new menu with the name dehli6 after visiting dehli and explores extensive new dishes for his restaurant. we arrived this evening after the online booking for an early dinner and were cared for by the chef himself to sit down, who told us the history of his new menu and the background of the dishes. so we were served to the Dehli6 menu of the chef himself and through the coming of each cook completely by luck (and friendliness of the chef) we had an incredibly personal culinary experience and to speak with the personal, it looks as if this was emulsified by the waiting staff in busy times. they are all very proud of their food and serving standards and my goth, it shows. eating was absolutely beautiful, of course, we chose the tasty menus with an option for a main pane masala and a jungle that were both some of the most nuanced and tasty curries I ever had. absolutely amazing. dhoom is an absolute good at d prasad and his personal, and they should all be incredibly proud of the work they have put in. we will be back for a fourth, fifth and sixth visit. superb."
