"Excellent product and careful elaboration. The presentation is also very good, and the service a 10. The dessert presentation is spectacular! Just to make a point, and it was circumstantial, is that when we went there right next to us there was a table with six or seven little creatures, and they were obviously chatting. I know that in this restaurant they accept quixalla, but when you go to enjoy the food it is not pleasant to come across this. In my case, it was when we were already finishing the second course that the occupants of this table entered, so it didn't affect us either, if it had been from the beginning we might not have stayed."

"Excelente lugar, la comida es exquisita, el personal es de lo más amable, he venido ya varias veces y no había hecho reseña pero nunca es tarde, sin duda es un acierto de lugar. Los cócteles, la comida (mention especial a las croquetas, los nachos, la costilla, las hamburguesas, los postres) el lugar y la atención, todo impecable, sin duda vale totalmente la pena, seguiré viniendo. Lo recomiendo al 100%."

"To get up, the table I play was small and next to the baths and the area of bartenders, so people always pass. small bathrooms and only one for the category and quantity of diners. in the other tasting menus that we have gone, are the chosen dishes, here we brought a waiter the cards and I do not explain how many dishes we have had to choose or nothing. the sommelier already killed him when he advised us a drink instead of opening a bottle for meat and another for fish. if you read in more forums, they also say: to give more meals put very jots tables and in the end no, you enjoy the food."

"Vegetarian/vegan. Feminist. homemade. affordable. are words that summarize this wonderful place. If you have any questions about where to eat today by donostia, do yourself a favor and go to tavern garraxi. You will find a menu with vegetarian options that can be vegans without problems and for a popular price. choose what you choose, you can't be wrong. personally, the day I went with the gazpacho, the champagne with sauce, the rice noods with vegetables and curry and dessert a smoothie that knows how to nectar the gods. The girl who attended us at the table was very nice and very close. I'm sure there's everyone. I don't know, the feeling of home is noticeable in the environment. and as they say for the other comments, water and bread are free and as much as you want. As a catalan that I am, asking if it was true that water was unlimited and free, the poor woman has been framed and said that she did not understand the question, that how they will accuse us of putting water! accustomed to paying for everything, I came out of doubts for itself. In short, go try it for you mism@. you will love it, trust me."

"Civico 14 is not a restaurant that you bump into while walking downtown San Sebastian. You have to look for it, you have to know it from its exclusiveness; and that 's what we did with a couple of friends... 2 nights in a row, during a long weekend in Donostia. We wandered in on a Friday night, and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of fresh pasta. The restaurant was filling up quickly (although it was only 8 pm) but we managed to snag a table. The menu is not overwhelming like those typical touristic places, there are a few options but carefully choosen and prepared, ingredients are fresh and seasonal (they just put up the spring menu) and there are always a couple of pleasent surprises not mentioned in the list. Between the 2 dinners we had, we went basically All in and managed to try a bit of everything. As a starter we had an extremally flavourfull white asparagus, that I have never tried before, then the smoked mackerel paired with blueberry vinegar which was succulent and finally the unforgettable beef tartare cleverly mixed with hazelnut, mustard and cocoa nibs. Then we moved on with the Pasta, my favourite was the Fusilli with lamb ragu, simply spectacular, the pasta was fresh, al dente, well seasoned and a good portion; on the second night I had Paccheri with monk fish and bottarga, another succulent and wonderfully executed dish if you like fish paired with pasta, like I do. At this point we were almost full but that Octopus on the menu was too tempting so we made the effort and we were not dissapointed, it is served with a cream of 'peperone crusco ' and a side of sea asparagus, two things I 've discovered for the first time. 'Dulcis in Fundo ' the desserts; I dont have a sweet tooth myself, but something as simple as strawberry and basil ice cream...yes basil, was incredibly smart and refreshing; then of course the chocolate panna cotta (which is not your average panna cotta with chocolate topping) which comes with raspberry crumbles and orange, in a beautifully presented plate. Finally the Tiramisu was the perfect ending of this food parade. As creamy as it comes, and as dreamy as it suggests...and not to be ignored, made fresh daily. This has been one of the most exhuberant culinary experience I have had in some time. All that being said, I highly recommend Civico 14 if you are near San Sebastian...it will definietly add more beauty to the already beautiful city."
