What a warm ambience, very friendly staff, pizza was bit harder and over priced. Options for vegetarians were not much.Had best seafood pasta after a long time. I will rate 4/5

The food was amazing, the staff was friendly, and I will definitely be coming back again. Had a fantastic evening with family and friends. The food was excellent and the dessert was absolutely delicious.

I dined at the restaurant on November 26th and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and the service was great. The chef even allowed us to enter 15 minutes before opening time and treated us wonderfully. Voir le carte

I love this restaurant !! Superb menu with a good choice of wine I would recommend the Monticello to start with the smoked salmon with prawns Marie rise sauce and salad . 10/10 pasta with prawns in. Garlic sauce delicious ! A nice atmosphere in this restaurant and the owner is very attentive Will certainly be back

Traditional Italian restaurant in décor and menu, with a smart set of looking waiters all attentive and friendly . Opted for just main course as the portions were large and we wanted room for dessert. Can recommend both the Tagliatelle Con Salsicsta and the Rigatoni Alla Calabrena served with Focaccia and washed down with a bottle of Frascati. A nice place for relaxed dining .

Highly recommend Italia Nostra. It was a last minute decision and the restaurant was very accommodating. It's wonderfully traditional inside, original furnishings. It's quite a challenge to find an Italian that makes fresh pasta this is my new favourite place to eat. I had pate to start; my husband had roasted stuffed pepper (filled with mince, rice and mozzarella). Our mains were a tagliatelle with hot sausage and mushrooms in a tomato sauce, and tagliatelle with ham, peas and blue cheese. It was pricey, but food as fresh as this I don't mind! Voir le carte

This Italian restaurant is a longtime favorite and is simply the best. We began our meal with a delicious minestrone soup and shared a delightful focaccia mozzarella. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara and my friend had the chicken with mushrooms in a cream sauce, both dishes were outstanding. The chef's signature adds a special touch to every dish. For dessert, I had a Knickerbocker glory and we both finished with cappuccinos. It was a fantastic dining experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Ordered a pizza with chicken, only 2 small pieces, complained and wasn’t interested, i ordered broccoli with the steak Diane, the included potatoes were taken away when I asked for my broccoli and broccoli showed up after meal finished, Steak was nice but north value for money, my starter tasteless.. at the end we asked for some gesture due to pizza and main problems, they weren’t going to budge, after a row where the waiter behind bar said we would f@@cking pay full price ensued, stubbornness set in, explained being sworn out was out of order and not going to be pro active to sort situation out they reluctantly knocked pizza off of bill, a few mouthfuls of pizza were had trying to find chic...

We had a wonderful meal while on a weekend away in Stirling. Despite being incredibly busy with the pre Christmas crowds, the manager managed to find us a table for 8pm. Serving staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Our food was fantastic and full of flavour the arrabiata was especially good and the bruschetta excellent. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming and a fellow diner giving an astounding rendition of Nessun Dorma added to the festivities! The staff also deserve commendation for their excellent handling of some extremely drunk customers who having complained about an aspect of their meal (didn’t stop them from eating it,or consuming a fair bit of wine) decided to try to leave...
