"irwell’s bistro is just on the road from where I live, so we often go. we were twice in the last months and I forgot to write it up last time. my wife, her mother and her two came in the march. as always we were greeted with a warm welcome and smile. we sat in the room on the back, which was good when there were many of us. we found all something we enjoyed on the menu or special card, I love it that irwell's changes often change the specials. I also treated myself with a cake, the cakes are amazing here and this time I went for the fruit and cream-filled croissant. so delicious! in the april I and my wife came to the breakfast when they first opened when we wanted to newbank to buy me a homeplant for my birthday. really fast service, we ordered two of the full breakfast and it was very tasty. came with two eggs, a big mushroom, black pudding, half tomato, a thick sausage, two thick pieces of speck with really nice crispy speck, much toast. and the most wonderful kartoffels. can't blame it. everything was really well cooked and a very pleasant breakfast."

love it here, perfect place to go between penetrating plants. large thumbs up for garlic broth grilled salmon salad. large selection of delicious dessert also.

order a brittle rose 2 pieces white toast with cheese on the middle barely warm used to make a beautiful navy and crispy .. grated carrot and 2 muddy pieces tomato. place was dirty. will not be back

soggy wet turquoise barm . completely tasteless. followed by tasteless egg-cutard tea. do not go back and do not recommend. 40 pounds... for grouse. also had a child of approx. 10-11 years old serve, orders etc....can not be legal!

man, I went to irwells yesterday, I ordered a well-made bacon sandwich and a sausage sandwich for my man. when the sandwiches arrived, there was no presentation, the sandwiches looked like they had just slipped with some salat on the teller. the speck was very fat and not cooked on request. the sausage was just as bad, cheap. irwells have gone down in standards. won't eat here again

Nice food and place, staff all nice and friendly apart from one middle aged dark haired women who was very unpleasant and rude assumed she was the manager) and barked are you sitting inside or out' at us, she was awful... and also saw her speaking to some of the young waitresses like they were something she had trodden in.. Shame as she really let's down what is a nice place to be....

telephoned this restaurant to ask when they stop eating a young girl said that it was we traveled there, but arrived in the caffe in who were about to sit down when a waitress came and asked. what we wanted to eat when she thought hot eating was over. I explained that I had called and hot eating was promised to she then said oh! ok l will only ask someone else to humiliate the other waitress and confirm arred, then agree with her, no hot food, but just to make sure that

I can only say that the service was very bad, our eating and drinks were almost thrown on the table, we all just looked at us, we simply couldn't get a smile from the staff, even if we didn't even pay a thank you. they, and it wasn't even busy, will not even get there worst service and bad attitude we've ever experienced, be helpful and always remember that customers have a choice. really can't say anymore if I could get this place a score of zero and I've never done that before.

My wife and I have been to the bistro on many over the years and always ordered the same dish which was their take on Caesar Salad.The salad consisted of a good portion of chicken and bacon, croutons, grated carrot, lettuce, and Parmesan cheese, onions,and lettuce, and Caesar salad dressing. We visited today ordered the salad and what was put in front of us I could only describe as a child's meal, it consisted of two small strips of chicken, a few tiny pieces of bacon, three anchovies and a large amount of lettuce, a small dusting of Parmesan cheese, and a smaller amount of Caesar salad dressing, an absolute rip off.
