Had a lovely meal here. Great service and friendly atmosphere. We didn't have a reservation but the staff got us a table. Table service too. Quaint pub. Seating outside too and a car park

Me and mate venture to Irby Mill when we want a 10/10 pint. Which we of course got on this venter! Lovely pub! Always a wide selection of ales which is always a good sign for me and my mates, staff are great!

great service and eating. recommend the burgers, with seasoned riders, they are beautiful. we also had fish and chips. light teig and the homemade cloby chips are great. many good quality beer in offer. worth a visit.

Lovely traditional pub with country vibe. Cosy in the winter and brilliant in the summer with its beer garden. They are keen to promote local breweries and businesses in their stock which i think is great. Love visiting here.

We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. It was cozy and intimate, perfect for a lovely family meal with thirteen of us. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly. Everyone had a great time! Thank you so much.

We brought our puppy to a pub for the first time and she was greeted warmly. Despite her excitement causing her to have an accident on the floor, the staff were understanding and quickly cleaned it up. The chicken, ham, and leek pie we ordered was delicious, with perfectly cooked chips and lovely greens. We will definitely be returning for another meal soon.

what happened to the chips? first visit since before lockdown, friendly staff, good selection of beef, steak and fish really good. Unfortunately, the chips were not from the norm they were before the lock. have previously been with family and friends with them all say that the chips were the best they had ever tasted. the chips that are now served are hard on the outside that my wife left and I only managed them because I had pfeffersoße with my steak to soak them.

I dined with friends at this restaurant in September 2023, with a party of three. We were warmly greeted by the staff and our waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu, providing excellent recommendations. The restaurant was clean with ample space between tables, creating a relaxed atmosphere for a pleasant dining experience. The menu offered a variety of options, with each of us finding something to enjoy. I ordered a burger which was delicious, and there was also a good selection of ales available. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

Very disappointed. We were served by young people who didn’t seem to have any idea about customer service. We had one starter missing food was in the main far too salty or just lacklustre. We waited about 30 minutes for the card machine to arrive so we could pay. The young man said he was “busy with other customers”! Then made some comments about how much wine we had drunk! All very odd and not really what a group of OAP’s expect on their night out. Sadly we won’t be going again which is a shame as pre COVID we went there regularly To add to our woes my new white jeans are stained with the dye from the chair I was sitting on!
