Hello everyone, we visited the Jägerheim in Dortmund. The atmosphere was very nice, decorated for Christmas and, above all, traditionally furnished. The service was good and courteous. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the women's toilet left something to be desired. Especially if a restaurant is very busy, the toilets should be cleaned more often and toilet paper and dry towels should be refilled. The food was generally very tasty. If you like Austrian or German cuisine and enjoy eating in a busy restaurant with a lively atmosphere this is the place for you. While being very busy the staff managed to be attentive and friendly and deliver reasonably prompt service. As a party of four we enjoyed cordon bleu, Rinderroulade and Sauerbraten (twice), all excellent. We all went for the same desert (tiramisu and panna cotta) which was equally nice. A good selection of wine contributed to an enjoyable evening.

Top quality and portion size of the food. We felt very comfortable and protected. The volume was very pleasant despite the restaurant being full. Wines very tasty, as well as aperitifs, desserts and digestifs. Prices are quite high, but we were very satisfied and would love to come back! Thanks to the entire team!

The restaurant is really nice and located in a beuatiful place in the South of Dortmund. It has been renovated in a quite pleasant style. The service is really great so only positive things to say about that! Unfortunately the food is not on the level expected. Given the prices are quite high, one would expect quite high quality in the dishes. It happened several times that too much salt was in the risotto or too much vinegar was added to the salads, etc. Last time I ordered falafel and they came in a really small portion and the side dish was literally one spoon of lentil. My friend ordered shrimps and they were floating in too much sauce. The deserts on the other hand are amazing! Voir le carte
