"Have visited this pub last three weeks on Saturday night about 10pm to catch up with a few friends. Last night (3rd July 2021) one of our party asked landlady/owner to turn music down. His brother had just passed away and he wanted to chat. She said that there had been alot of football supporters in the pub who had spent more money than us and refused to turn it down despite tha fact that apart from the five in our party there was only herself and a couple of others at her table. Also one or two in another room. She said basically that if we did not like it we could go elsewhere. Disgraceful tirade from someone who should be welcoming back trade after being locked down for so long. Needless to say we wont be going back again. No masks worn when moving around and no record being kept of visitors in accordance with requirements for test and trace purposes. The one good thing was the barman."

"During our stay at Lea Marston Hotel, we arrived quite late and found that the kitchen was closed and no food was available. The Pavilion Restaurant was also closing, but they kindly agreed to stay open and prepare a takeaway meal for us. We were incredibly pleased with the warm welcome and excellent customer service we received. The food was delicious. We want to extend our gratitude to all the staff at the Pavilion and highly recommend anyone in the area to visit them. You won't be disappointed. "My fiancée and I frequent this restaurant often for lunch or a nice afternoon drink. Today, we stopped by after a wedding planning meeting to relax. We ordered our food and a kind gentleman brought us our utensils. He struck up a conversation with us and showed genuine interest in our day. Our meals arrived promptly and were delicious as always. I highly recommend this pub/restaurant and want to give a special thank you to the waiter who served us today."

"Terrible fish and chip shop. I understand the cost of living, but charging more money for less food is not acceptable. I ordered a large mixed meat and chips, but requested only donner meat and tikka, a sausage, and curry sauce. Unfortunately, the chips were extremely dry with no salt or vinegar. The donner meat was very thin, the tikka was bland, and the sausage was tasteless. The curry sauce, which cost £1.95, was disappointingly small. Despite spending £15 including delivery (so around £12 for the actual food), I could have gotten more value for my money at other fish and chip shops. After seeing another negative review from a month ago, I am dreading the effects of my meal tonight. This was my first and last time trying this place."

"Lovely bar and great potential. However lack of bar staff waiting over 15 minutes to order a drink this was prior to our restaurant sitting 7:30. The restaurant has no ambience at all, the food is absolutely tiny and I ordered a takeaway when I got home. The quality is ok, but the pricing is crazy. Paid £98 for two courses and two drinks. My partner wanted a cocktail, asked for menu and they didn’t have one. The waiter reeled off a small list and they explained they were available in a pitcher only who orders pitchers when going out for a romantic meal? It was very apparent the waiting staff lacked experience also, and there seemed to be nobody providing guidance experience to help them. I eat at a lot of good high quality restaurants both cheap and expensive and I don’t mind paying for quality but I do mind paying when the quality is poor and the price is massively overly inflated. Sadly, we will never return great potential. Address the restaurant look ambience, poorly trained waiting staff, price, cocktail drinks menu and you will do well im sure! We were offered 20% off the bill based upon a complaint to the waitress, which was a nice gesture. That price was more suitable but I still consider it expensive."
