"Il truciolo is about 15 km outside Bologna. For this reason I think that they have never seen a tourist eating there. Consequently, they have to keep high quality standards to attract customers. The restaurant has a genuine and vintage atmosphere. We ate starters and pasta. Everything was very tasty, I liked polenta with egg and black truffle and gramigna with salsiccia. I will go back there and eventually bring friends. There is no menu, the boss comes and tells you the dishes of the day. You do not know the price, but again it garantees you that you will eat only daily prepared dishes. A bit expensive, however, you will find the same prices in the city center of Bologna."

we found this tavern by chance, ocendo from the highway we were going to the mountain, and it was a nice discovery! the owner is very kind and very nice, as well as all the staff and the environment is warm and welcoming! very well the carpaccio of smoked agus, idem the calves, but the gram saffron and sausage is special!

I've been all over italy and by far the best meal I have had is the Gramigna a la Salchicha. Also love the Piadine and the Fiorentina (Huge firewood cooked steak). I go as much as I can to this restaurant to eat this fantastic meal whenever in Bologna. My wife loves the lemon tagliatele pasta. Its in the middle of nowhere, it is small and cozy...I love it!
