I'm not someone who needs huge portions, but I want to be fed. Appearing tiny, expensive, main dishes as well. There was a bad joke: "How did they find their carvings?" Il Ghiotto has a very nice location, it's spacious and nicely decorated. The menu is based on Italian food, the specials list was last night long and interesting. Well cooked, excellent service.

we were eating with 8 friends in the il ghiotto today. we were all excited about eating. all dishes were excellent cooked. I personally had a velvet of extraordinary quality. the best thing I've ever eaten. also the service was excellent - friendly, courteous. with good weather you can sit wonderfully under a huge old chestnut - perfect

very friendly service, which goes very well on small children and from itself brings out the pizzas for the little ones. the more demanding foods of the card are not cheap (Kalbs-Tomahawk with sweet and 2 kartoffels, very good, 38.-€). a white, a red open wine. very good food, beautiful view in the deweerthschen garden. in the summer you sit outside. very good Italian, recommended.

the restaurant has been in operation since a year.In the beginning the kitchen was very average but with the time has improved more and more.The ambiente inside is beautiful and completely new even if not very cozy.The staff is always very attentive and makes everything a gast feels comfortable.The eating is very good and the price is right.The terrace in summer is pleasant and beautiful.Immer happy again

After trying many Italian restaurants in Wuppertal surroundings, this is surely the best one I've found so far. Unlike many other restaurants, the cuisine here is truly authentic Italian, and the ingredients are fresh and high quality. It is not cheap but considering the quality, it is very good value for money. The ambience is also very nice, with large window walls and lots of light coming in. Staff is friendly and competent. We will definitely return.

"If a family has been leading an Italian Sicilian restaurant for 40 years without interruption in a German city, you can talk about a tradition of Italian Sicilians. Forty years in the same place, opposite the Wuppertal swimming pool and not even an ideal location, about 1.5 kilometers from the city. We haven't been here for a long time, of course it's not 40 years ago, but two or three years ago. We have entered, like before, always full. The atmosphere has changed to the advantage. No southern European tourists Kitsch, more purist and therefore contemporary. A friendly restaurant chef welcomed us. That he wore a very chic short black pants (to the knee, surprised us first, but not disturbed us. His figure allowed to wear this designer piece in the German summer. He accompanied us to our beautiful 2 he table in a side room of the restaurant 's. They used to say Separee. In Separee there were two more tables, and especially more to the guests there later.
