"Upon a recommendation we went to Al Capriccio for lunch. You do need a car or some form of transportation as the restaurant is not in the centre of the city. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was on full display behind a large window with all types of seafood laid out just like a fish shop. It was neat to watch the chefs working away in the kitchen with the elderly owner stopping in to see what they were doing and keeping a eye on things. Not being a very adventurous type when it comes to fish I ordered gnocchi with shrimp. The gnocchi was home made and very tasty served with a tomato sauce. What I really liked about my shrimp was that they were cooked, shelled and ready to eat, no peeling or ripping the heads off! My husband had pappardelle with fresh tuna that looked very appetizing. One of our friends who loves seafood ordered a mixed plate which came with various fish and shellfish, he said it was outstanding. Our other friend had a plate of mussels which were thoroughly enjoyed. If you are ever in Milan do try Al Capriccio as it's a great seafood restaurant with friendly service and very high standard of cuisine."

fish restaurant. a complete menu, but made of few dishes all excellent invoice for fish lovers. excellent choice of efficient personal wines also good reasonable sweet prices

We appreciated the food and all the suggestions given by the owner. Antipasti were a wonder! Small ambiente too loud therefore not enjoyable for a romantic dinner. Desserts to be improved.

we stayed for the first time in this restaurant, located in our area, during the week. we took two appetizers (really excellent curly tartare,) two before, and dessert, with a bottle of wine. excellent quality of food, attentive and fast service. recommended. Voir le carte

excellent quality of ingredients! each dish is also the most traditional one is revisited without eccentric twists but with small variations that enhance the goto. in everything you perceive a great love for the art of receiving that puts first the care of the customer! What to say.compliments!

The fish was great and the fried fish selection that I had was excellent. Even though I was a guest and not paying the prices were a little high. The service was a little weird. Whilst the lady was kind and brought me an English menu I thought they were a little brusk and rushed. Still this is a classic place and a favorite of many and if you want to taste fish the way the Italians do it right go for it just bring your larger wallet.
