"Venturing slightly off the touristed main streets, Il Cacciatore is tucked away in a curious little corner of the higher climbs of the town. The entrance an tables are unassuming, but be prepared to be blown away by genuine home cooking, produce which is grown...and prepared by the owners, who also serve with enormous charm and enthusiasm. I don't eat fish which is their forte, but can vouch for an excellent Antipasto di Terra (own grown olives and puntarelle (a bitterish salad green), sun dried tomatoes, zucchine carpaccio, hams, salami and excellent Pugliese bread). We followed with home made pasta dishes, my wife had the house special which is a long flat pasta called troccoli, with exquisite sea-food, cooked together in cartoccio There is plenty of fish and grilled meat on the menu, but we rounded off with home made pastries and liquers, all delicious. You can't go wrong here, and as mentioned above, the family who run the place put heart and soul into their food and their hospitality. Highly recommended !"

Beautiful room equipped with air conditioning and also private garden, they welcomed us in a wonderful way putting us at ease the cleanliness is from 5 star hotel recommended

we went here mid-september because it seemed the only option still available. we were sued by the excellent service and the delicious food and can highly recommend the troccoli that were absolutely fantastic.

Sometimes I don't know how to give five stars to a restaurant like this!When I go to a club, the first thing I look at is cleaning. Unfortunately I had already sat down!!I conclude my review saying that I was forced to leave the appetizer because of a hair in the dish and to eat the fish fry with the hands cause very dirty forks and encrusta! Maybe the food was good but believe me I couldn't eat besides the fried rings! ! Voir le carte

if they are looking for a place to go for a long, relaxing lunch with friends or family or a beautiful, traditional and local dinner, this is the place to choose. eating is fresh and tasty. they can choose from a lot of directed. The...owners are incredibly friendly and honest, they feel like home there, not in a restaurant. everyone who crosses pechici should suck here. P.S after your meal ask for a caffe with hazelnut grappa, trust me.

we arrived last night in this restaurant and had remained seriously speechless. after the first bite we only sat in silence and ate enthusiastic about all the pure perfection! the next day we arrived shortly before leaving the family peschici. opened the restaurant earlier only for us and then offered us a trip to the bus stop. the sweetest people! I'm not sure what our favorite dish was because we loved everything! we have to go home a bottle of their magical house made cherry dipstivo. what a tasty bite! recommend this place to everyone and hope to be back soon
