"Forse non avevo mai dato 5 stelle ad una recensione. Trovato quasi per caso dal fiuto di mia moglie, già dal menù si presenta l'imbarazzo tra carne o pesce. Poi leggi cozze affumicate e i dubbi svaniscono. Antipasto per due... potete vedere dalle foto ci sono 5 portate con alcuni abbinamenti inediti per noi, come baccalà in crosta di carbone vegetale su fonduta di formaggio, cozze marinate con asparagi di mare. Ci hanno trattato benissimo nonostante arrivati oltre le 14.00. Ottime le orecchiette con vongole tartufo e porcini. Per finire gelato al limone con rosmarino e olio EVO e come liquore grappa alle carrughe fatta in casa, entrambi stravaganti ma buonissimi. Speriamo di tornare presto a sognare grazie allo chef Leonardo."

"Il Trappeto is divided in two areas; the outside terrace, garland lit with tables built around beautiful olive trees, and the underground cantina, carved right in the fresh stone. We chose to dine in the latter, wanting just a quick pizza that night. Despite the great and generous cocktails, the food was somewhat sad and the service very slow and messy. When in Italy, and in Puglia no less, you expect to eat a pizza better tasting than the ones made in your home country. It was not the case at Il Trappeto. One particular pizza, the one offering shrimp and asparagus was appallingly poor industrial frozen shrimp (for a location so close to the sea ?! and the asparagus also traded for paper thin slices of zucchini. Had we gone to the restaurant area, the terrace, things might 've been different, but it 's unlikely we 'll go back to find out. At least, one doesn 't pay too expensively ones mistake. A good mark for the decor, the antipasti, and the drinks."

"we had two dinners and one lunch here. the fish dish was simply boiled in aqua pasta, so the fresh of the fish had tasty and one of the best my other half (she grew up in a fishing community. so that is lob in the did.) the homemade pasta with seafood was wonderful as the spaghetti with clams courgette flowers (vongole e fiori.) very pleasant house wines from puglia. the sardels with swashing were a delicious appetizer with the right amount of acid to let her sweet juices flow. as on the beach they eat to the sound of the waves and the staff was very friendly, helpful, even for us not Italian speakers. highly recommended."

"Our favourite pizzeria in Vico. It was, when the pizza was made by Caterina and cooked by her husband Giuseppe, who incidentally still works the olive groves from which the wood comes to fire the pizza oven, not to mention the olive oil used in the cooking. And it is now, that the next generation have taken over. A family run establishment, always friendly and courteous, the recently refurbished restaurant is as elegant as a pizzeria can or should be but most importantly the pizza is always delicious with thin base and tasty toppings. Of course tastiness depends on the toppings chosen and sadly nowadays there is a tendency to under season (salt) everything. However, better under than over, I say you can always add but you can't reduce salt. In any case, definitely the pizzeria to go to if pizza, or paposcie, are what you're after."

"Splendido ristorante, meraviglioso lido ottimamente attrezzato e dotato di piacevole animazione. Andiamo con ordine. Il ristorante posso considerarlo un'eccellente soluzione per mangiare pesce, a pranzo e cena, a prezzi onestissimi, con proposte molto curate (segnalo i Panini di pesce, la Zuppa, il Fritto Royal e il Polpo arRapato). Il servizio è attento al cliente ed impeccabile. Il Lido ha ombrelloni ben distanziati ed è molto pulito, anch'esso con prezzi accessibili (20€ è il costo giornaliero di un ombrellone con due lettini), cui si aggiunge il pregevole servizio di animazione del Sunrise Group, formato da 4 ragazzi (Benedetta, Andrea, Maria Rita e Giuva) che tengono compagnia con ginnastica, musica, giochi per grandi e piccini. Consigliatissimo"
