Iberia Georgian Restaurant

I wanted to like this placeIt was highly recommended to me by a friend who frequents it and brought a few of us with her to try it out.

You don't come across many Georgian restaurants on your typical high street I fell in love with Georgian food when I visited Russia over the summer.

As a tourist in London, one finds that you can quite easily find your fill of fish and chips, but too many pubs are mass produced, too few places serve a Voir le carte

A small and busy restaurant serving tasty Georgian food for a reasonable price (for London standards). The usual range of dishes is present and service provided by the staff was friendly and speedy. It's nothing too outrageous, just decent enough. Recommend.

Lovely atmosphere over Saturday lunch, Great food: we had starters and mains. (Our Russian friend was impressed with the food) The staff are friendly, service was speedy but not rushed. The charge was a fair price; £60 for two. We were full! Thoroughly recommend

My family booked a table for six people for lunch at 1pm yesterday, to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived at 12.50pm, the front door was locked, so we looked in and waved. One of the waiters pointed to his watch, without approaching the door. After another five minutes outside in the cold, we tried again, with the same response, following which we gave up. So our custom was lost to another restaurant, where we were made welcome. Voir le carte

A real gem in Barnsbury, I highly recommend people find their way here. Authentic and cozy Georgian experience, the khachapuri (warm Georgian cheese bread) is one of the best things you’ll ever try. Great selection of Georgian wines, try the saperavi, a rich dark red. On top of that, the people that work there are extremely welcoming and make you feel at home. I’ve been going for years and tried almost everything on the menu so please do yourself a favor and come by.

We met with a group of friends to try this recommended restaurant They accommodated 8 of us without fuss. The menu was unusal as none of us were familiar with Georgia food, but the waitress guided us through it We had a variety of katcapuri, breads, some with egg and others with cheese, a mushroom with cheese topping and spicy beans to start with. They were all very good For teh mains 2 of us went for large portions of teh beans, otehrs had grilled maets and fish, we had sides of vegetables, salads and pickles All was really interesting and enjoyable We had Georgian beers and a recommended, by the waitress, bottle of Georgian red wine, all excellent This was a very interesting experience and...

I booked a table for the 25th of December a few days prior. However, when we arrived at the restaurant it was closed! I was very disappointed that our plans were ruined and time wasted, and that I did not receive any information about the cancellation or changes of the restaurant's opening hours. So I emailed them to say the above, forwarding the confirmation of the booking. Someone from the restaurant (didn't introduce themselves) replied later and attached an image of a fake email that they allegedly sent the same day of the booking saying the restaurant would be closed. But you could even see that the email had not been sent it was presented as Gmail, but google doesn't display messages t... Voir le carte
