We had a nice Narni-type pizza here. It was a foccacio with pizza dressing, ha. We had good food and nice service, but nothing out of the extraordinary. The wine actually gave us a little headache the next day (or was it the weather? .

very nice place with view. we have truffles, chocolate and chicken. Congratulations really, I felt like savoring the flavors of old kitchens, like those of grandmothers, who cooked with so much love. It's all for me. prices in line with the dishes. absolutely recommended, book on weekends!

Il Ghibellini is quite basic but the pizzas are good and we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace on a warm evening. We thought the pizzas better than the pasta and a bottle of red wine we ordered arrived very warm. But service was efficient and friendly and I would recommend it for a simple dinner.

To start with: what can one think of an Italian restaurant that has run out of spaghetti and basil and despite of that they sell caprese (tomato-basil-mozzarella salad), but it just comes without basil (without telling it to the customer in beforehand), and spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti replaced with some other pasta? Dishes in general were tasty, antipasto plate was very nice, pizza was ok, pasta very good. Service was slow and not very attentive.

The restaurant is positioned in a beautiful place down a little alley way, with a specular view of the mountains. My friend ordered a pizza and I ordered a mixed salad. I know these are not imaginative meals, but my salad looked like it had come out of a packet, and my friends pizza he liked at the time, but was ill later (can't say if it was the pizza or not). Maybe if we had ordered some local food we might have done better. Pity, I really wanted to like it ...

delicious typical lunch in this restaurant. we ate outdoors on a sort of terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside. all exquisite, starting from the appetizer passing through the first and second (especially the second,) to finish with the desserts. very courteous staff and prices in the norm. the only new the remarkable wait between one course and the other, perhaps because it was Saturday and the place was full. in the complex restaurant definitely recommended.

The location was convenient to the central area of the city. Get there early (if dining on a weekend for lunch) since the place fills up. The food was very good. I had the cinghiale and my wife had the polenta with sausage. The restaurant is known for it's pizza as noticed from the various types of pizzas on the menu. We also had the antipasto with the various meats and cheeses (which was very good). The atmosphere is a bit lacking especially since the television was on. From where we were sitting we are unsure whether there are tables with a view over the countryside. The price of the lunch was a bit pricey for what we ordered. The cinghiale was 13 Euro and the polenta with sausage was 12 E...

I went to this place on a Sunday trip to Narni. After a visit to the wonderful herds and a trip to the village, I stopped at lunch and fortunately I found a free table despite the restaurant was full. the place is really very beautiful and evocative, with a breathtaking view that shows the whole village and the surrounding valley. an impeccable service served me rather quickly, despite the full room and the kitchen certainly does not speak behind: the place proposes the healthy traditional flavors of once typical of the Umbrian reality, a triumph of flavors and timeless culinary delights.
