"We were to meet friends here for dinner but life intervened and we arrived just in time to sample what had been offered up. We were so impressed, that we came back a week later with some local friends as a treat... The food is described as from the regions of Umbria and Lazio: meat dominates the menu and it 's well prepared. We tried 2 primi and 4 secondi between the four of us: and we couldn 't even contemplate dessert. We all agreed that the papadelle alla lepre was the winning pasta; the farona (guinea fowl) is outstanding, followed by the coniglia (rabbit rolled around a spinach core). The cinghiale (wild boar) is exceptional as well. We were divided on the rolled duck which which is seasoned with with a variety of spices. It comes up more like a rolled pate/finely ground salami so don 't expect pieces of duck). It 's tasty but the other three dishes are really well made. Dinner is kind of like a production you don 't order as much as rather being 'directed ' by Cristina so you may need to stand your ground if you really want something else... Don 't expect 'fancy ' the food and the place is genuine and sensibly priced."

Three couples had lunch, arrived an hour later than reservation, but were welcomed warmly. The proprietress served us, made perfect recommendations for wonderful pasta dishes and brought a cherry tart for dessert which was complimentary. All patrons other than us were locals. Highly recommended.

Non un pranzo, ma un matrimonio!!! Antipasto, due primi, due secondi, dolce e caffè. Ero in una comitiva di 48 persone e abbiamo mangiato molto bene con un servizio celere e professionale il che non è scontato nel giorno di Ferragosto. Complimenti allo chef per le tagliatelle alla lepre veramente ottime. Bravi!!!

I was en-route to the nearby pool on the River Nera and stumbled across this family run gem. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the place was full of locals. The food was delicious, large portions, quality house wine. Starters of bruschetta and ricotta and butter sage ravioli set the stage for amazing mains of grilled pork chops and lamb that were dripping with flavour. I highly recommend it.

siamo andati a questa trattoria a pranzo, durante una giornata alle talpe vicine (10 minuti in auto) un piccolo parcheggio scomodo, dal momento che è sulla strada, ma niente di drammatico, il locale è accogliente e modesto, la deliziosa cucina. Ho preso un antipasto misto, tortellini di ragù, bistecca di cinghiale e un dessert, tutto davvero grande. la qualità è alta e il prezzo, per tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato, è grande; i camerieri sono molto gentili e ci hanno servito con attenzione e velocità. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che decidono di trascorrere una giornata a casa.
