"a very nice location is the background for a good food collage and great service. employees are mostly young and so, all super available, professional and also nice. an ideal climate for a dinner between friends like the one we conducted yesterday. the restaurant is located in the center of a characteristic and well-groomed square, icon of that part of the catania that perhaps not everyone cares enough. I noticed a lot of attention to the products, especially the smell of raw ham hit me right away. in other words, we were all happy with the dinner and I feel I can safely recommend “the whimsical” and come back again. We only tried the pizza service, I don't know for the kitchen. the waiting times were right (but it was very little crowded at that time.) the prices of pizzas are medium-high, in line with the quality of the products."

We went there once during our holiday in Catania, then decided to go back the very next day as it was really delicious and there were lots of dishes to taste. The owner and waiters were all very sympathetic as well. The wines suggested were fantastic. In other words : We recommend it !

We ordered two pizzas, one daisies and one in the pistachio. pizza with ambio frame, made with light and soft dough. only negative note, if you can define so, the fork not suitable for pizzas. reasonable prices, in line with the market. for the rest recommended.
