Ordered a takeaway for lunch, was a great deal that they are doing at the moment, 2 x starters and 2 x mains for £25 and the portion sizes are a decent size for the price, was ready on time and easy to phone and llace your order, well worth it and will be ordering again

I was treated to afternoon tea at Hunters Meet this afternoon. Lovely selection of sandwiches, beautiful choice of cakes, delicious scones, plentiful clotted cream and jam plus as much tea and coffee as we could drink. All served by a helpful smiley waitress. A really lovely birthday treat.

Three of us were here for afternoon tea, WOW what a treat sandwiches were all fresh and various, and the cakes were to die for! a scrummy selection and then you get scones with jam and cream, and plenty of tea and coffee, you can have the prosecco afternoon tea as an alternative .staff very friendly, one way system was in place and temperature taken too hand sanitizer was also available. We were a party of 6 who booked the weekend package for a 50th celebration.If you're looking for elegant, sophisticated fine dining...this isn't the place for you.But what you do get, are the friendliest most helpful staff, an excellent 4 course meal and breakfast, brilliant entertainment in the form of the delectable Fanny Galore and an superb singer providing great party covers. Fun,fun,fun!

Had the most fantastic time on Thursday at the DDay event and Diane's performance yet again blew us away. Your staff are amazing and make us feel so welcome evertime we visit. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. The food and service is always fabulous, cannot fault a thing! Soooo looking forward to seeing you for Ascot Day and staying in your what I can only say is the most wonderful welcoming warmly hotel. See you next week...The Treadwells

Wonderful staff, very well run family owned, traditional small hotel. Extremely popular with locals, lots of special, live entertainment evenings. Good food a pleasant all day bar with an outside terrace. Pretty gardens whole heartedly recommended if you are in the area. Ideal to meet with friends during the day for coffee etc far superior to the tea rooms at the Heath. It is slightly like stepping back in time but that just adds to its charm, what they do, they do very well! Voir le carte

In these funny old times we decided to have a takeaway Sunday lunch rather than eat in because a member of the family had been shielding. We have been here numerous times for family celebrations. Between us we had the Sunday lunch platter, the lamb and the turkey and it did not disappoint. Everything was cooked beautifully and all plates were cleared. For dessert we had carrot cake, cheesecake, fudge cake and pavlova. Generous portions and all delicious. It is important to support local businesses in these uncertain times and to make sure we can all resume normal business, we need to adapt in the meantime.

Attended Fanny Galore quiz 90s last Friday, what a great night it was. After lockdown this was my first night where I felt we were able to go out and let our hair down along with social distancing. Well done to all at the Hunters Meet I used your outside bar during in lockdown as well and I can honestly say you guys had lockdown set out so well keeping the bar spirit alive where you could! Working in a bar myself it’s easy to be critical however your team seem absolutely lovely and all I have to say is positive things. I will certainly be using your facilities more in the future. Group of 21 booked for 2pm afternoon tea, where advert said "selection of freshly baked homemade scones with fresh cream served with homemade jam, homemade cakes, finger sandwiches and unlimited tea coffee "All very true but only one scone per person, and where jam and cream was rather meagre. Jam and cream was topped up when asked. Sandwiches equated to 3 quarters per person, and again on request a few more were supplied after asking and arrived some 30 minutes later.
