"Had a lovely stay at the Nogg in. Having spent the week travelling the south west we stayed at 6 different hotels/B B. The Nogg in was by far the most comfortable with a fantastic size shower equipped with plenty of fresh towels bathrobes. We stayed in room 2 which had a huge bed (not sure on size but bigger than king size). A big bonus was waking up to a coffee machine pods in the room. The room looked freshly decorated and no sign of mould anywhere in the bathroom. Larger TV than usual in hotels too. I would definitely recommend and will be staying there again when visiting family local to Wincanton. A real credit to the owners."

"half pfund bark burger with chili sauce and salat for just £ 4.50 so much better and cheaper than chain burger. quants salate, choose what they want. also a large selection of sauces. well cooked. their doner kebabs are also much bigger than I had elsewhere. excellent value for money. also a large selection of pizzas in three sizes. their chips are cooked to order and are always crunchy and not soaked in oil."

"My son and I were in the area staying at the local travelodge for 2 nights so got a delivery on our second night. So glad we did! We picked up a menu earlier in the day and asked Imran while there if we could have a delivery for about 9pm so he took our order there and then as we knew what we wanted. (This was about 5pm after we watched Wincaton FC nearby) He said will have it with us for 9pm. Bang in 9pm it arrived! Great service! We had a couple of their specials (nehari chicken and Bengal flame lamb) A couple of Palau rice , saag aloo, okra and a peshwari naan. The curries where amazing!! Lamb was lovely and tender. All turned up lovely and hot Great sized portions. Decent prices! Definitely recommend and Definitely have again if in the area!!!"

"All good, food nice, staff very helpful and friendly. Just one criticism, the Order to Table online function in the website, I wanted to use it but the items on the printed menu and the items on the app don’t correspond. I wanted to order an item in the table menu but it wasn’t in the app so I had to go to the bar to order. Exactly the same when I wanted a drink, it wasn’t in the app. I actually identified about 5 items I wanted but could only get them by going to the bar. Not a big hardship but if you’re going to have an Order online function please make sure it corresponds with the printed menu otherwise it’s pointless."

"The food was in general very good except for the burgers. DO NOT eat the burgers they are terrible and taste like kebab meat. The rest of the food was spectacular. The waitress who served us was very attentive and great at her job. Well done! The chef unfortunately did not like any sort of criticism about her food as we had suggested although the fishcakes were very good it did lack salt. She felt we didn't know what we were talking about as he Mum had said they were fine. Each to their own. I would definitely recommend dinner here as the atmosphere is wonderful and so is the staff."
