A massive shout of appreciation to our bar tender whom painstakingly looked up how to made my margarita and did so to perfection!! Thank you so much! We will most definitely be back soon for dinner and another round!

Apart from the best pint of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord I have had for years, the food and atmosphere were terrific. Very friendly service, and a good menu, with the lamb kebabs being a star feature. Thoroughly recommended.

Just back home from staying for 4 nights here after we were left stranded in Devon as the holiday cottage we had originally booked turned out to be a building site currently occupied by the Contractors, thats another story so I'll cut to the chase....

What a lovely Sunday Roast of a very generous size with a quick service. The Wife had the Top Side Beef, obviously slow cooked to perfection. Myself had the Chicken which was half a Chicken. Four veg side dishes, Roast potatoes, mash and Yorkshire pudding....

We dropped by for a drink and light lunch after a walk. The owner and his wife were very friendly and served the best beer in Devon! The homemade food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, the place was clean, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely return! Voir le carte

An absolute gem, very clean tidy and fresh bar area. We ate here 2 nights (didn't stay) and had a fabulous experience. The hanging kebabs are to die for and all of the food and service was excellent, both on a busy Saturday night and a quiet Monday evening. Name check to Laura and Katy who looked after us on the Saturday and despite being super busy took time to offer us knowledge of the local area and were great fun. Graham and Sue thank you very much, I'm sure we'll be back in the future!

The hospitality provided by Grahame and Sue is exceptional. Sue’s homemade food is absolutely delicious, and we found ourselves eating in the pub every night because it was so good. The locals were incredibly welcoming, and we really didn’t want to leave. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The only problem was that we had to eventually return home. We want to extend a special thank you to Grahame, Sue, Orion, Laura, and Sam for making our break so memorable.

We had another fantastic stay at this restaurant. The rooms were extremely comfortable and we had a peaceful sleep. Being in the middle of a quiet village was perfect. Our room also had tea/coffee facilities and a new addition of a fridge stocked with fresh milk, sparkling/plain water, and chocolate goodies. The pub meals were fresh, homemade, and made with top quality produce. We wouldn't want to eat anywhere else. The wine selection was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly. We highly recommend this place and give it 5 stars plus. Sue and Grahame were brilliant hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and for the beautiful flowers in the room for our birthday and anniversary celebrations... Voir le carte
