Howden Park Centre - Carte

There is not a wide variety of options available, and the prices for food and drinks are a bit high. The menu mainly consists of sandwiches and soup, but there are plenty of delicious sweet treats to choose from.

This is quite a posh cafe for the area but that doesn't mean that the staff are not approachable. The food is good, if a little over-priced for what is supposed to be subsidised by the council. It is always clean and rarely busy.

Recommended by friends we dropped in for tea and cakes with elderly ladies. Staff were friendly and helpful carrying our tray over to table as it is self service. Very peaceful place and usually a wee exhibition to visit in the gallery space. Voir le carte

I am sorry to say that this restaurant has reached a new low when it comes to bad attitude and service. The food they serve is very average, leaving me feeling truly disappointed. The nice building and location are unfortunately ruined by the dreadful and rude staff. I do not recommend wasting your time and money visiting this place.

Typical a beautiful place could be ruined by giving g a contract to an overpriced co tractor, this is how the council makes money, it's meant to go out to tender, but funnily enough it's no wee Betty's cafe that wins but, a multi billion...corporate company that wins, same as prisons, hospitals etc, no wee Betty's tea room who would do it for half the price, funny that!

Popped in with the family, first time visit. I work in the bar industry and this was the most friendly and personable experience I've ever had which I can appreciate as you don't get this in many places. From now on its will be a...family favourite for special occasions. I had the pre theatre meal on two occasions and on both occasions was dissapionted as was my husband with the quality of the cooking I had a veggie burger which was burnt and didn't taste of anything except charcoal my husband had the fish...and said he thought the food would have been of good quality given the high quality of the premises any way we gave it another go but no it wasn't any better but we do love to pop in for tea and cake and to go to several shows which are always fantastic

Great wee place for a super salad (great value at only and a cheese n ham toastie The service is always second to none. Staff are happy to help, friendly and take time to talk to you. The staff are like one big...family and make you feel welcome and part of the family. We visit almost daily and still love it. Never had bad service or bad food. The soup is always fresh and tasty too but the new addition to the scones (apple and cinnamon) is my new favourite. Keep up the good work Howden Park Centre.

It was Friday night and we are there for a show so I called two days before to reserve a table. I had checked out the menu on line and the show booking page said Dining available click here so I had not anticipated what...happened next. It won't be busy so we will not be open the lady said. But the show is sold out I responded and the restaurant will not be busy if it is closed. Well it's the council who decide so we will not be open. There is so much wrong with this that I will go no further. The menu and prices looked amazing and it is a fantastic modern building so so every one lost out. The show was great thank goodness.
