Hotel Riva Bella 4 by Thalazur

Great choice of dishes, well presented and worth mentioning an excellent and super friendly service. If weather allows try to eat outside with a view of the dunes.

Rien à redire sur le repas, juste rien de spécial. Le service est terne mais parce qu'ils sont occupés, ce n'est pas antipathique. La plupart des convives sont des clients de l’hôtel, ce qui change l’atmosphère.

Following a long car journey, and relaxing spa experience our delicious meal at Hotel Riva Bella restaurant completed an enjoyable evening. There was a varied French cuisine and good choice of wines. It was quite expensive, but we thought that the service and general ambience...in pleasant surroundings made it good value.

Évitez le buffet du jeudi tiède et insipide, le poisson fade et la nourriture chaude n'est pas renouvelée assez rapidement donc elle est vite épuisée ou devient caoutchouteuse. Le personnel est inattentif, ne débarrasse pas les assiettes ou les tables, de sorte que les meilleures tables près des fenêtres restent vides et vous devez vous installer... dans un coin loin de la vue. Les fruits de mer sont corrects mais pas aussi frais qu'ils pourraient l'être. Bonne sélection de desserts et de fromages. Si vous réservez, demandez une table près de la fenêtre.

Nous avons séjourné ici la nuit précédant notre traversée en ferry de retour au Royaume-Uni. Nous n'étions pas sûrs à quoi nous attendre, car les hôtels en France peuvent être assez différents de ceux du Royaume-Uni. Cependant, nous avons été très impressionnés par la propreté, la convivialité et la qualité de la nourriture.... Les lits étaient incroyablement confortables et après une journée sur la route, ils ont fait un merveilleux refuge réconfortant pour la nuit. Bien qu'il n'y ait pas de bière sur le menu du restaurant, ma demande a été satisfaite sans hésitation. Je recommande vivement le steak et la bière.

This restaurant serves patrons of the Thalazur spa and reflects the healing atmosphere and ambience of the sea that fringes the complex. It is open to the general public, but the ambience is one of restfulness and wholesomeness, as befits the purposes of the spa....Some visitors may find this a bit disconcerting at first, but the service is charming and skilful. A three course meal for two costs about Euro and represents excellent value for money. Drinks are extra but are not overpriced. The restaurant caters discretely and cheerfully for children and babies. My wife and I would cheerfully drive km for a meal here. First impressions, as you drive up to the hotel, are not favourable. Architecturally think Motorway Travel Lodge. Having said that once you walk inside you are in a different world. This is a smart hotel that specialises in impeccable service from the moment you enter...the dining room until you leave. Like many travellers on the nearby ferry service to Portsmouth we arrived after a long drive. Nous sommes arrivés tôt au restaurant, donc nous savions que c'était probablement trop tôt pour nous enregistrer, mais nous avons quand même demandé.
