"We held a baby shower event at Home Bar Ickenham this July and we honestly could not have asked for a better venue and service. We hired the small terrace area towards the rear of the venue and it was ample space for hosting a cocktail style event for around 40 people. We were able to move the chairs and decorate the area to make the space suitable for our requirements. The staff, including the manager, George, were exceptional. George and his team were extremely attentive and took great care of us to ensure we could host a successful event which everyone enjoyed. Nothing was too much to ask. They helpfully rearranged the area to suit our requirement’s, they helped manage the budget I had for the event, they offered to help with the set up and they ensured everyone’s glass was full! We could bring our own decor and play our music. I would highly recommend this venue for events. Honestly I did not expect to have such fantastic local service. Thank you to all of the staff at Home Bar, you were all brilliant!"

Wow! What a find, pretty much on our doorstep! Four of us tried three courses and not one bad plate-in fact, the calamari was possibly one of the best versions of the dish we’ve tried. This place seems to be a scam. They ply you with 2 for 1 cocktails until the bulls come and they charge you double. This somewhat fraudulent act happened twice to me. They would add a random £20-£40 extra thinking the people who had been drinking would be too intoxicated to realise and then are so apologetic when you call them on it... right so this has happened to me and a friend multiple times. Seems like an act to me

Shame I can only give 5 stars for the service the food was great as usual, but what really made it was the team working there had a really enjoyable Sunday lunch with friends who had travelled a fair way to join us! The kids absolutely loved the food and even our friends’ baby made a BFF with the waiter (maybe because he brought her some ice cream..! Thanks for a lovely meal once again! Kid friendliness: Very accommodating for children and good menu selection. They didn’t have the kids burger today, but then they offered an adult burger cut in half and served as two kids meals worked a treat! Our kids love the calamari as well!
