It might be useful for locals to know that the High Corner number is now 01443 704729. Confusion is being caused by the former owners' web site and Facebook page not being taken down. Good food, good welcome. In my case the faggots were delicious...so was the wife's Tennessee chicken. Friendly landlord and plenty of appropriate humour.

big thanksyu an catherine and the team, they called me to let me know that they just took over the high corner and they had seen our booking for the 2nd dez for a meeting of 30 plus that they honor and for the price that we had been quoted, the buffet was excellent, much eat and all laid perfectly, massive thanks to them all on the high corner llanharan

2 couples visited lastnight Saturday 7th had a cracking night my wife had the kormawith all trimmings and I had mixed grill both of us really enjoyed washed mine down with a couple of doombars the wife double gins served by excelent staff very polite...food very good quantities and very tasty our friends couldn't fault their meals iether expected the bill to b a lot more than what it was fairplay very nice will b going back

Came here in late afternoon with my partner, not been in since the new owners have taken over, was met with a warm welcoming, owner and staff were very friendly and very welcoming, food served fresh and proper chips! Portions were huge and well worth...the money, very relaxed meal, even though the owner was busy preparing for the nights entertainment he had time to talk to us and had found his humour appropriate, definitely will come back and will bring my family next time, and highly recommend

our works xmas do fri 17th. catherine and her team have taken up everywhere and nothing was too much annoyed. the kitchen has laid a beautiful frying dinner for our table and it was noticed how delicious it was from all. the prawn cocktail. starter was beautiful and 90% of our tables had this and literally licked the dishes clean: the pub was busy but not too busy, which is all the latest to do and it made for a really relaxing fun atmosphere. a special thanks to the local singer who was amazing (seele and motown) great voice and we had a great boogie! all in all were the service, eating and entertaining fantastic. the value for money was brilliant. in the past, the pub has always fought on...
