"We came here for lunch and were lucky to find a table by the window with a view over Worms Head. We ordered a Cumberland sausage with mashed potatoes, peas and onion gravy and Chilli con carne with rice and tortilla chips. For dessert we ordered hot chocolate fudgecake and a lemon tart. All the food was really tasty and the staff were very friendly too. Parking for the restaurant is in the National Trust car park opposite, which is pay and display, but if you are an NT member this is free. I would happily recommend the Helvetia Restaurant and I will come back if I visit Gower again."

Pros: The view. Cons: The food and the exorbitant prices. £3.75 for a Rola Cola, £4.50 for a small portion of chips, and £12.50 for a burger made with the cheapest meat (like something from a burger van) that had no sauce at all and no onions. I've had better meals from a food van! It’s hard to believe. My advice: avoid it unless absolutely necessary. If you do decide to go, be prepared to remortgage. Food rating: 1/5.
