Only a cup of tea. When it was pointed out the cup was dirty, they replaced it with.... another dirty cup? I know you can't get any staff these days but that's a low bar.

I had never been to this cafe before, but I was not disappointed! The hot chocolate was really nice and the atmosphere was great. Although it was a bit pricey, the sitting areas were comfortable and there was a fantastic shop afterwards. Definitely worth a visit! Voir le carte

Visited today after cycling the Monsal Trail. Wife ordered a chilli jacket potato, not quite what we expected huge potato with very succulent beef (large portion) covered in a tasty salsa, massive amount of soured cream, with a fresh side salad. The best jacket she has has had. So much meat, I got the usual “You have to help me out” can confirm the meat chunks were very nice. My loaded chips very tasty huge amount of bacon. You won't be disappointed with this restaurant. It has recently been refurbished and is located close to a quiet café with easy access to the property. The bed is large and comfortable, and the shower room is spacious and lovely. There are three car parking spaces available. There was a little noise coming from the fridge, but there was a message on the fridge allowing you to turn it off, showing that the staff are aware of the issue and trying to accommodate their customers. I would definitely stay here again, 100%.

After a walk along the morsel trail we needed a refuel and cup of tea. Hassop station cafe is just the thing. I had a lovely beef burger and really good fries. Brilliant. My wife had the brisket sandwich . This was also really good. A gauge pot of tea to accompany it was just the thing. The food was really good. The service was superb. The down side? The toilets are very poor. Tatty and unclean. They don’t look as though they have any care or upkeep and it’s such a shame they are like this. Desperately need some TLC. Voir le carte

First went here a few months ago and loved the pizza after a bike ride. Did it again this time with family and did take away. unfortunately we were already on the road when we discovered one of the pizzas was completely burnt on the base, basically leaving the pizza inedible. Really disappointed as the first time the pizza was great and now we've basically wasted £12. This time all 3 had too much cheese and was stodgy and as mentioned, burnt. Can't trust it now. The fries and garlic mayo are delish. I understand stonebaked and Woodfired is going to have some charcoal bits but not this much.

Came here after doing the Monsal trail parkrun and unfortunately the cafe leaves a lot to be desired regarding service. Although the lady that served me was lovely and explained that they had a rush on hot drinks and that there would be a short wait, I think 40 minutes a visit to the till as well as two requests to serving staff asking where is my latte? is a bit ridiculous. My two friends had ordered 5 minutes before me and had to wait ages for 2 toasted teacakes that came half toasted with minimal butter and tasted like cardboard, their coffees also arrived after a big delay and were barely tepid. Nice food. Insane ordering system. Extensive menu including a breakfast menu; one of us wanted the roast dinner and one of us wanted a 'breakfast ' item; smoked salmon and poached eggs. I queued up at 11.45 and was told I couldn 't yet order the roast until after midday. I asked if I could order and pay for it now, but not expect it until after midday. I was told no. I ordered 2 coffees. At 11.57 I queued again and ordered the smoked salmon and poached eggs before the 12pm curfew. I asked if I could now order the roast dinner.
