The bar is truly outstanding. I was impressed by the good service and the delicious cocktails. I can't wait to return and sample some of their food, as it all looked fantastic.

We wanted to revisit our son's wedding reception from one year ago and relive the memories. This year, we chose a fabulous location and venue for food, drinks, and football. The staff were super attentive and the mulled wine was a lovely touch.

After a bit of a horror show at a nearby bar I met some friends here and it fully restored the day. Staff are so pleasant and seem to enjoy working there a lot. Great range of drinks and ales. I’ll definitely be returning and telling my office friends to visit x Voir le carte

Great food and service! What a change since before lockdown, bar staff and management were so friendly and had a nice knowledge of cocktails! Avoid if you just want a quiet environment, although the DJ made the atmosphere 10x better! Definitely will return soon and recommend.

Came here a few times over the past few days and had a lovely time. This is surely my new local. Proper city pub. Now serving ale again. The ale I had was an absolutely perfect way to end the day for me and my colleagues. Been coming here a while. Getting better and better, and great to see a best bitter on finally!

Table for 12 booked through their site for my 40th birthday. Needed all the seats. Booking ref DMN-16779169251 7/04/2022. Only 8 seats provided on 2 separate tables of 4 which we had to put together. Bar staff said that’s all we are getting super rude. We will not be going back, total shambles of disorganisation. Will complain to design by night also…. Voir le carte

Went here with a few friends and had a great time. The staff are all welcoming and do a delicious range of cocktails. I had the pork collar which was absolutely stunning, much better quality than you can get from other pubs in the area! The manager Dylan showed us around their hidden bar downstairs which is so cool I’ve hired it out for my upcoming birthday! Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Quite simply, staff were rude as we were told to go downstairs to our table , the downstairs staff didn’t acknowledge us in a friendly manner. Every answer was met in a rude and disrespectful tone. Pre ordered drinks a few days in advance which were not put through. Downstairs bar is dingy, hot and crowded. Although you are given an area, they pack it with walk ins so what’s the point in booking an area. Might as well grab a drink and stand outside. We left very soon and went straight to The Fable , up the road, which had a brilliant atmosphere and very welcoming staff thankfully allowed us to end our night on a high.

Our wedding took place in August 2022, and after much consideration, we feel it is important to share our experience at Harrild Sons. We chose this venue based on their positive online reviews, but were disappointed to find out that the venue had changed hands earlier in the year. This change seemed to have a negative impact on the service we received on our big day. Despite our initial agreement with the venue, there were multiple issues that arose. The wedding manager assigned to us seemed inexperienced and unprepared, leading to several errors during the day.
