"My dad, my 9-year-old daughter, and I were searching for a place to eat in the area while attending a nearby dance competition. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even preparing our food before the official start of service because we were on a tight schedule. We enjoyed delicious starters and mains, all at a very reasonable price. My daughter ordered an adult-sized pizza that was so large she could only finish two slices, so the staff kindly boxed up the rest for her to take home. The chef and the woman working behind the bar were friendly and engaging. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We will definitely be returning to this place next year when we are in the area again."

anyone who after a friendly pub with nice cooked home eating served fast and hot to the best standards at a great price should try the hare and hounds, they will not be disappointed. 5 stars every time!

Missed the bus had 40mins to spare so went to the Hare and Hounds by myself and had the first lager and lime in years, it was peacefull and I was left alone to catch up with my mob. Not been drinking for years, and I actually enjoyed it, I will visit again

the best steak ever! the rib was full of taste and incredibly delicate. it was absolutely perfectly boiled with a magnificent garlic sauce and spectacular house made wobble rings the size of the sauce. can not recommend this place! we will definitely come back.

Great pub in the village, large parking facilities. Flat so disabled can easily get in. First time going in, lit fire and nobody was in, staff made us feel welcomed. Booked a table for our evening meal. On return later, pub was buzzing, again staff lovely. The food was excellent, chef takes time and care, so if you are in a hurry it's not for you. Great selection of different dishes, which change regularly. We had the pie with all the trimmings, meat melted in the mouth. Only one choice of pudding, but it was amazing vanilla cheesecake with white chocolate and fresh strawberrys. If you are in the area its worth a visit.
