"The Hard Rock Café in Hamburg offers a special ambience for a visit. Inside loud music does not always play rock and everything is adapted to the processes in the USA. So all operators wore the same uniform (the girls bare rite) and some even did not speak German. Our stay there was very pleasant and entertaining. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a hard rock café because we had not reserved ourselves. After that we were quickly served and our order received very quickly. The court was fine. My accompaniment, who chose a burger, was enthusiastic about her food. I myself had a salmon dish with rice and beans that tasted good, but couldn't convince me completely. But the burger seemed really good. In price we paid €15 for a burger and €17 for the salmon court. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not quite balanced, but you also pay the name 'Hard Rock Café '. I'd say you ate in any of these restaurants. The atmosphere is naturally unique and sometimes something else. The food is fine, but you shouldn't expect too much. And the best booking!"

Service was very accommodating. People (Fleischpatty's) were dry like the desert. Pommes was okay.

Food was good. Service was good, nice place and historic inside. The store a little small, but because of the control was not crowded.

Our server was lovely (I can’t remember her name now but she was a petite blonde with short hair). Very polite and friendly. Food was very nice and almost finished (too much for some I found cocktails were more sour than sweet personally even ones I’d normally expect to be sweeter. Would visit again, please note a discount is available with the Hamburg Card. Voir le carte

I had a vegetarian burger and I must say it was good, but not something I would go back for. My fries were too salty. But portions are great. Apparently the Guiness burger is very good and the chicken mac n cheese. Our server was attentive and funny. We had a great time. As you have a super view over the harbour I will definitely return. Cocktail list is big enough for every taste something. And they got a nice outside terrace for summer time

in the rule hamburger are less friendly than their partner in berlin, but they actually go out of their way to make later changes. as in hard rock cafe was the first choice of the table not convenient, but the waiters did not want to change until they were sure that the desired was open to all, even if there were already people eating there. but they came by later and allowed the table change so that everything is good. the shop assistant in the hard rock cafe store also allowed the last minute shopping despite the closing time. look at the elbe entertaining as always

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
