"Me and my boyfriend ordered a few dishes from this takeaway restaurant one evening though the ‘just eat’ app. Firstly it was an estimated delivery of 45 minutes. Following placing the order it then jumped up to a further 40 minutes (total time of 95 minutes) we weren’t too hungry at the time and keen for Chinese so decided to stick with it. The time came for delivery... no sign of the food. We let it go 20 minutes until we called to see where the food was; after various muffles, rummaging and clicking around we heard someone in the background say ‘this is the worst job ever’ and ‘oh... it hasn’t been cooked yet’ the phone was then handed over to someone else who then told us that our food was cooking now and would be with us in 40- 50 minutes. Of course, unsatisfied by this we complained and offered to collect it. We were then told it would be ready to collect in 20 minutes. We arrived at the shop 15 minutes later and they couldn’t find our food, it wasn’t until my boyfriends mum called us to tell us that the food had now arrived at the house (45 minutes late). We argued the fact and everyone seemed to be very careless, pity apologising and using excuses of ‘we are busy and don’t have many drivers tonight’ ... at no point had anyone from the restaurant actually contacted us, it was US that did the chasing and investigating. Unbelievable!To top it off eventually; after stern words with 3 different people, we ASKED for our money back. We were never OFFERED any money in return or discount. We were agreed our money back but were told to do this through the ‘just eat’ appWE WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN!!!!"
