Normally great BUT tonight awful marmite honey chicken dry and hard and inedible. Salt a chilli chips tasted of old oil. Beef curry very grizzly

The food at this restaurant was terrible. It was too sweet, there was no consistency between our orders, the meat was low quality, and it just tasted horrible. We will not be returning.

We always get Thai food from here and it’s delicious! Full of so much flavour and the portion sizes are huge (ie the meat on the satay skewers). The staff (owner) is also super friendly and really cares about the food. We never order anywhere else now. Voir le carte

Haven't tried Haka for a few years after a disappointing takeaway. Though we'd give it another go. Not disappointed at all. All the food was very tasty. Beef chow mein was lovely. Had the salt/chilli munch box which was very nice. Definitely going back.

Since my regular Chinese takeout place was closed, I decided to give this local restaurant a try. Unfortunately, the chicken balls were tough like rubber and the batter wasn't cooked properly. The chicken curry and chips were also dry and overcooked, leaving a unpleasant taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this place.

This was a very disappointing experience. We received undercooked sweet and sour chicken balls, which we found to be dangerous. We called to complain and they offered to collect the food and replace it, but we were no longer interested. Despite not eating any of the food, we were not offered a refund. Ordered here today at 6.55 pm was quoted to be delivered by 7.55 pm which is understandable with the bad weather and being busy. I paid the usual £3.50 delivery plus 50p service charge which I was okay with as ive never had an issue. Always delivered on time or early and piping hot. Today it got to 8.05 pm and still no delivery so I called up and was told its out for delivery...8.25 pm still nothing, was told 10 mins. At 8.40 pm it came stone cold, the sauce had congealed and was barely eatable. No apology...nothing...

The only reason to get food from here is if no other chinese are open or you are limited online and have a craving for it. All the chef specials have some disgusting marmite sauce on them thats forced on you. The sweet and sour sauce tastes vile and no idea why (for me thats the sign of a good chinese). The actual quality of the food and the ingredients used isnt THAT bad, but the rank sauces really do it any favours. As a local I would highly reccomend looking in bognor town center or in middleton-on-sea (well until they sort their sauces out).

I am flabberghasted by the bad reviews here. This is a great takeaway. The food is super fresh and always good quality meat and prawns not like the frozen ingredients usually served in takeaways. I am a devotee of Chinese food and having lived in London for 50+ years have extensive experience of eating in good quality restaurants and from a myriad of takeaways, and I'm super impressed with Hakka. I guess if you want gloopy, pre cooked generic, MSG filled dishes it may not suit. But if you like fresh, light good Chinese food that really feels made to order, I would recommend you try. I live locally and do collect my order so I can't comment on the delivery aspect, but I have always found the... Voir le carte
