The food was amazing! Very comfortable setting. A relaxed pub atmosphere downstairs with a really nice dining area upstairs. Would definitely recommend for a meal or just meeting friends and family.

Nice little pub, only a couple vegetatian/vegan options, but they do offer a 'dog 's dinner '. Staff were lovely, food was good. Dogs are allowed inside, book ahead if you don 't want to be disappointed. Voir le carte

I had a really pleasant dining experience. They offer a wide variety of beers, and the service was excellent—very accommodating and thoughtful. They even went out of their way to prepare a special meal for my vegan friend, even though it wasn't something they typically offer.

this place is a rare fund, decided to look for a pub with good eating on travel adviser and the reviews led us here . nice cozy pub big atmosphere, very busy and without reservation we took a chance and they could not come any more. eating is beautiful, homemade with a great choice, will definitely return Voir le carte

Fantastic pub in the heart of the village! Incredible food, and as it's dog friendly they even do a dogs dinner for your pooch. Food and bar prices are fair. Often have live music and there's a weekly quiz even summer festivals. On Sundays they do a Carpark Carvery where you can get a hot roll, roasties and a little pot of gravy to dip them into. Perfect to stop off at after climbing The Garth. Highly recommend!

This pub is a beautiful place to stay. We stopped for the night on our way home to break up a long drive, and I truly wish we could have stayed longer. The food was fantastic, both for dinner and breakfast, and the location is stunning. We took a lovely walk up the nearby mountain with our dog and enjoyed every moment. The rooms are comfortably furnished, the beds are excellent, and the bathrooms are delightful. I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed a delicious brunch on a chilly January Sunday. The portions of meat and potatoes were generous, and they paired nicely with a hint of sweetness. The desserts were freshly made and delightful. The service was friendly and attentive. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the atmosphere felt a bit stagnant; we hadn’t visited in about 5 years and noticed that not much had changed. The place could use a bit of renovation and a thorough cleaning. It's worth mentioning that the pub is quite popular among walkers, leading to a bustling environment. Voir le carte
