"We 'd made a reservation. Table for 2 at 11:00pm. Arrived 5 minutes early and was told by the head waiter to go to the bar to get a drink. So far so good. Then the 'fun ' started. We spotted two waiters carrying a table from a store area and place it in an area next to the used beer kegs and in an aisle. All the other tables were occupied and no one was going anywhere fast. We questioned the head waiter as to where our 'reserved ' table for 2 was. He pointed at the recently placed table unceremoniously wedged in the corner in the passage way. When we flatly refused to sit there his response was initially one of indignation. He completely refused to accept that they had messed up and had actually given our table to a couple who 'd arrived 5 minutes earlier. The reservation turned out to be an 'accomodation '. He then started to apologise by which time we 'd decided not to eat there. My partner pointed out that this is the 3rd time in 2 years that they have done this to other friends. Be cautious if making a reservation here as you stand the risk of getting nothing at all."

El mejor asador del mundo. Productos super frescos y el parrillero es el crack de las parrillas. Un granaino que disfruta de este asador cuando va por Bilbao. Voir le carte

It was about 11:45 pm, the restaurant was full, but they accept us the same and we wait just 5 minutes before disgusting a wonderful 1kg piece of beef, txuleta mode (in 2 of course). Amazing !

We had a wonderful meal here. After attempting to get a table in two other restaurants along the river and being spoken to rudely both times we decided to try this place. The chef greeted us and was very friendly. It was busy with locals so we could tell the food was probably going to be good. The fish and meat is priced by the kilo so this is not a cheap meal. The croquetas were the best we’ve ever tasted. The scallops were delicious also. I highly recommend the sea bass. We also had a txuleta which is a large beef steak joint to share. It comes rare so if you want it medium rare or medium then you have to ask. It was fantastic. The fries aren’t on the menu but you can ask for them with you...
