"This was by far the worst Indian meal we have ever had, and possibly the worst food overall. The pickle tray was not appetizing at all. When we inquired about the freshness of the chicken, we were assured it was cooked fresh, but it was clearly dry and pre-cooked. The "chef" approached our table during the meal to ask if it was cooked to our liking, but his sarcastic demeanor and lack of concern for other tables was off-putting. The rice was subpar, with cauliflower in the vegetable pilau rice. The masala sauce resembled watered-down ketchup, and the lamb rogan josh was tough and unappetizing. Overall, the food was incredibly disappointing."

Such lovely food. Nice atmosphere and ambience. Would come regularly if we didn't live so far away. Well done on an excellent family run business. If we r ever near here again we will definitely b back!

Just finished our meal and we were both saying how much we enjoyed it. So I thought I would post a review! Couldn’t decide which dish we liked the most but the daal and cauliflower bhaji need a mention.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered. My husband, son and I had different currys they were exactly to our taste, delivered in a more than acceptable time. Fantastic food, service and price as always. Thanks to all the staff. Voir le carte

A friendly, family run restaurant that always makes us feel at home. The specials are always truly special. Cross your fingers for lamb shanks! We’ve only had takeaways from here due to Covid, but it was a real treat to eat in. I’d thoroughly recommend

The staff at this restaurant are friendly and helpful. The pickle tray and poppadoms were excellent. We both enjoyed the lamb tikka starter, which was very tender and delicious. The main dishes were tasty, especially when paired with special rice and fluffy keema naan.

We visited a nice restaurant with very polite and well-mannered staff. Sal, our server, welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. However, we were disappointed by the chef who prepared our delicious meal. It was off-putting to see him drinking beer while serving food to customers, which we found disrespectful. Voir le carte

The first and last time I will ever go. Utterly disappointed with the food, the lack of respect and the atmosphere here was atrocious. Number one, the food was cold, I ordered a butter chicken and it was very watery. Number two, when going to get the bill, I was greeted with anger and rudeness which I received from who I assume is the owner. I wouldn’t go there again and personally you could find a better curry in your local iceland freezer.

My wife and I had an amazing meal at this restaurant whilst staying in a holiday cottage nearby. The quality of the service and the food were both excellent. We went on a Monday night and were the only people there, which is normally a bad sign for a restaurant but we should not have been worried as we had a great meal. Also we found that the drink prices were very reasonable. We would highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to go again if we were in the area.

"We arrived here for a 2 night stay for a wedding (Fri sat night). PROS: Lynsey the manageress she 100% makes it so fabulous. Lovely, welcoming, looked after us brilliantly. Due to some staff shortages, she was doing what seemed like 10 jobs at once! We ate on one of the nights food was delicious! Great service tasty food. Breakfast was also spot on set us up brilliantly for the day ahead on the Saturday! The Willow room which we stayed in was fab ideal size, lovely cosy too! The whole 2 night stay was extremely reasonably priced the place itself has a great feel about it like a big cosy house! CONS: If you like total darkness, take an eye mask for sleeping as the rooms can get really bright from the early hours. Also, depending on the room, it’s on quite a busy road so can be quite nosy it would be worth having earplugs if you like a quiet surrounding. Due to staffing, the bar doesn’t stay open that late, so be mindful of this, they will however put drinks in your room if you can’t make it back in time for the bar closing. Taxis there are no local taxis, so arranging transport to the wedding we were attending was a nightmare which we didn’t account for! Luckily after 6 different phone calls, we managed to get sorted. The only gripe I had was the confusion over the bill if you decide to charge things to your room, the bills aren’t itemised so it’s difficult to keep track of what has been charged. There was some confusion on checkout over what we should shouldn’t have been charged for, so definitely choose to pay for any extras outright to avoid any confusion or uncertainty before check out. Other than that, it was one of the nicest, most personal stays we’ve had out in a long long time. This was mainly down to the Manageress Lynsey who is fabulous at her job really does make it feel like home makes you feel super welcomed relaxed. Thank you lynsey for really making a stay a one to remember."
