"We've been three days and they've been pretty good. The surroundings are beautiful and all right. The glue is that part of the gardens and woods are a bit abandoned and give bad image, weird thing in paradors. Instead the rooms are excellent spacious and very clean. the food also very well prepared and served. The service leaves a little to be desired since they lack personal and do not arrive, of the three days two we have gone to the cafeteria to take something and we have gone empty by not appearing anyone there. to return the towels after waiting more than 20 minutes at reception I had to go to the dining room and antregarse them to a waitress of the dining room by the way that very attentive."

"Fuimos a comer un grupo de amigos que nos habíamos trasladado para visitar Guadalupe y fuimos a comer a este restaurante. Los entrantes muy bien pero llegó la comida y horrible. Para empezar uno de los camareros estornuda encima de donde tenían el pan cortado, nos dimos cuenta y nos dijeron que se lo llevaban, seguro que se lo pusieron a otros clientes. Se pidieron dos sopas castellanas y aquello parecía cualquier cosa menos sopa, traen un plato con una lasca de jamón bastante gruesa, una rebanada de pan y en un recipiente aparte el caldo que parecía agua sucia. Otros pedimos solomillo y estaba muy seco porque lo habían pasado mucho. Otros pidieron el bacalao rebozado y no estaba mal, desde luego lo mejor de lo que se pidió. Y a la hora de pagar 263 €. Para mí una estafa. El propietario contesta que rectifique mi reseña porque dice que habré estado en otro restaurante. Pues bien adjunto dos fotos del momento y lo que sí rectifico es lo de la sopa, que no es castellana es SOPA DE AJO ACTUALIZADA. Pero sigo opinando que fue una estafa. No se la pudieron comer, se la dejaron entera. Y lo del estornudo también es mentira? Lo que tendría que hacer usted es llamar la atención a sus camareros y poner solución a estos temas. Hay que ser más profesional"

"This café – restaurant you will find on the first parking spot on your left, this before you are reaching the centre of the village of Guadalupe. We parked there our car on this location to have a stopover and to walk from here to the Monastery, which will take you about 5 minute, so we took two coffees and overlooked in the meantime the inside. We can say that it is a cosy location, fine and very clean, also the toilets. The service is very friendly and we are sure that you will get good food for a very reasonable price, this in comparison to the cafés and restaurants on the “Plaza de Santa Maria de Guadalupe” in front of the Monastery, who are more “Tourist” traps."

"We had just visited the monastery and were , tired, hungry and thirsty. We had started down to the car which we had parked below and decided to stop at this restaurant in the curve of the road. We were the only customers at the tables outside , although there were a couple of locals in the bar. The Restaurante misted us to keep cool, which was very nice during the heat wave in which we were in Spain. I know there have been complaints about service, but we had none. Our waiter kept tabs on us and fed and watered us appropriately. We had boccadillos which are sandwiches on very large 8 inches or more rolls. My partner had artichoke and sardine which was different and he enjoyed it. I was more routine and had chicken. They offered me mayonnaise before I had a chance to ask for it. they can be served dry. . It was actually quite tasty and filling. It was a lovely stop for us and a welcome chance to sit and recharge."

"Al pasar por la puerta un camarero muy amable nos vendió espléndidamente el menú. Una cez dentro tardaron bastante alegando que había muchas comandas en poco tiempo. Pedimos un gazpacho que al final estaba totalmente aguado y caliente, sin nada de picadillo de acompañamiento. De segundo pollo asado, que tardó también bastante en salir...el aspecto era delicioso, pero estaba totalmente crudo por dentro...nos lo cambiaron por una trucha que llegó bien, pero al límite de estar también poco hecha. No recomiendo dejarse engatusar por el camarero de la entrada y buscar otras alternativas en la plaza, que hay de sobra"
