Very busy and very frequented. A vegi-vegan menu that allows itself a little meat. A good address.

Friendly café with a warm setting featuring insects. We loved the mulled wine as well as the blinis.

Great place, a legend in Switzerland for vegetarian cuisine before it was really in vogue It was a tad bit expensive but at least we knew that the experience wasn't killing any animals.

a rare jewel recommended by a local friend. they are super busy with a young and creative amount, and have a small selection of things that are perfectly prepared. we had a fish dish that was so good that I remember all the smells. a huge recommendation for a little hidden space.

That was a wonderful experience. Café du Grütli strives for ethical and sustainable cuisine. Although they serve meat and other animal products that do not go well with this ethical approach, they seem to recognize there is an argument for veganism and made most of their offer vegan. The food was divine. They don't get very often a hostile experience as vegan, but that was certainly one of those rare inmates. Definitely try it for a somewhat different vegan experience.
