From start to finish an amazing experience, all of the staff and owner are very friendly, the decoration and vibe in the the restaurant are perfect and the food is delicious!!!!! Will defiantly be back

We have been to Gola a number of times for dinner and lunch. Each time, the food is excellent even when we have visited with a larger group. Lasagna is a must, we have not tried a better one outside of Italy. Calamari is also great. Lovely selection of wines and the owner is always so welcoming.

Fantastic small Italian in Parsons Green . The staff were great friendly . Lots of choice for starters mains. Also lots of veggie choices . Between us we had Burata , truffle Arancini , calamari, and a sharing board . So many choices for each course ! First time we have been and would definitely revisit ! Exceptional restaurant one of my favourite Italian restaurants. Rich and filling tasty dishes and excellent selected wines by the owner from Puglia. We shared a calamari dish for a starter and for mains it was gnocchi and salisiccia, an Italian sausage and vegetable dish. We went for the Sicilian house white, ever so good but bettered by Vermentino from Sardinia 'nectar '. To finish, we shared a 'Happy Ending ' sweet unique. Roll on the next visit.

Tartare di gamberi was chewy. The cannelloni was reheated and not fresh. The meat filling was dry. When asked to take it back, I then had seafood pasta which was over salty and did not have the giant prawns my friend had. In fact I only had mussels and not the squid and prawns. I was made to feel uncomfortable for pointing this out. I have relatives in Italy and travel there a lot and have eaten delicious fresh pasta many times for a fraction of the cost. A £20 pasta dish that did live up to the price. Disappointing.

This is the second time we have been to Gola, and it was simply fantastic. I had the Ravioli which was probably the best I have ever had. Fresh pasta was out of this world. My wife had a pizza which was incredible. We both found that the menu and description of what it was is spot on. The flavour combinations leave you wishing you could have more, but then knowing that desert was next. The desert menu on an empty magnum bottle. We both had an Affogato was just perfect, which had a little shovel as the spoon. Book to avoid disappointment, as this is up there with one of the best Italian restaurants we have been to.
