"Life is about experiences. And Christian Felsberger made us feel special. Special enough to come back directly the next evening. A lovely man, with humble but informative service. He looked after us all evening. He made great recommendations for food, but most of all we had a great experience learning from him about the best local and other Austrian wines. The first night we had a stunning Krispel barrique. A full on wine but it blew me away. The second day, Christian, noting my tastes, presented a slightly lighter SB, more lightly oaked. Also an exceptional wine, very smooth, so well chosen. We were delighted. Food on the first night was great. The steak was done to perfection (my wife commenting that it was amazing how they got it just right, based on her brief description). I had a lovely risotto. The second evening I had boletus (specially reserved for me, I note). Everything was so nice, such a pleasant experience. Thank you Christian, I wish you the very best, happiness in your work, and I hope to see you and your wonderful colleagues again soon."

"Die kühle Begrüßung der Chefin, wie in anderen Kommentaren hier ersichtlich, kann ich leider bestätigen. Das ziehte sich auch im Service teils fort. Wir wurden beim Abservieren nicht gefragt ob es uns geschmeckt hat, was unserer Meinung nach zum guten Ton, egal in welchem Restaurant man ist, gehört. Leider war das Personal auch etwas überfordert, hauptsächlich war nur eine Person zuständig und die Gastterrasse war recht gut gefüllt. Hier war man aber bemüht und freundlich, alles in allem war es aber sehr hektisch und man fühlte sich nicht sehr willkommen. Ich saß fast 2 Stunden lang in der prallen Sonne (stört mich im Allgemeinen nicht, nach einer gewissen Zeit wird es aber unangenehm), ein Nachfragen ob man für mich einen Schirm nachrücken sollte kam nicht. Das Cola Zero war im September 2022 abgelaufen, das Flank Steak kam kalt bei uns an. Wir haben uns nicht beschwert, da wir nicht pingelig sind jedoch hätte uns ein wenig mehr Herzlichkeit gefreut. In Summe war das Essen und die Qualität wirklich gut, aber leider ist das oft nicht alles für einen schönen Aufenthalt in dieser Preisklasse."

"This restaurant is primarily intended for the guests of the hotel of the same name, but is also open to anybody who just wants to eat there. The dining area at the first floor is beautifully designed in a modern but nonetheless somehow classic manner, which is a far cry from the rustic style of most restaurants in the region. In conjunction with elegant cutlery and glasses, this provided a classy ambiance. The impeccable, swift service corresponded to this high standard.Both the menu page of the day and the permanent menu comprised a few classics of the Austrian and international cuisines and several more special creations, without being overly experimental. Apart from many meat and some fish dishes they also offered sufficient choice for vegetarians. The sizes of the portions were such that for most guests a main course alone will not suffice, but will have to be combined with either a starter (or at least a soup) or with a dessert.Salads could be chosen from a wide variety at a buffet. However, 6.80 euros for a bowl of salad was a hefty price. The other dishes were not that pricey, but nonetheless also expensive. With the exception of the strange combination of curd and salmon of the spread served with walnut bread as an amuse-gueule we appreciated the food. Undoubtedly, “Legenstein” is a place for very good quality dining. Whether this justifies the high level of prices they charge may nonetheless be debatable."
